Dare to Wear: Jessica Alba

I usually feature both full-body and a head shots of DTW contenders, but in the case of Jessica Alba's circus act of a dress, I HAD to include a shot from behind.

To make things worse, the actress paired her seemingly stained getup (from Valentino) with grey sandals. I've never seen a tutu look so gloomy.

Diane Kruger Rocks the Combat

The punk trend is all over the stores for fall and actress Diane Kruger showed off a slouchy-chic version at a photo call for her film with “Mr. Nobody” at the Venice Film Festival on September 11th. As is, the ensemble perfectly blends LA-cool with a rock-n-roll attitude; or, exchange the boots for peep-toe platforms for dinner or drinks out.

Upgrade: Penelope Cruz Tries a Cooler Look

After blending into the background in a tomato red Bottega Veneta suit at the London premiere of “Broken Embraces” in July, Penelope Cruz tried a “polar” opposite look with a dreamy RM by Roland Mouret ice-blue dress for the Toronto Film Festival on September 11.
