Dare to Wear: Jennifer Lopez

I don't know about you, but I'm holding Spanx responsible for this one. The company has so successfully convinced the female generation that wearing tights all over your body is sexy that now no one wants to wear anything else.

Case in point?! JLo at the Dick Clark 2010 Times Square New Year's Eve bash, where she performed in a full-on leotard covered in nothing but glitter (which provided no help in covering her lady bits!).

All I have to say is that if a man walked into a bank in a pair of glittered tights and pantyhose on his head, he would NOT be met with such admiration. Double standard?!

Dare to Wear: Kim Kardashian

First, Kim Kardashian sported a knee-length leopard Tracy Reese dress during Fashion Week. Then, she rocked that itty-bitty leopard velvet number to the Lamar Odom launch of Rich Soil at Kitson. And while hosting at Eva Longoria's new nightclub last night, she went see-through! (See all pics of Kim Kardashian wearing leopard now).

It looks like this feline is slowly revealing her true spots, along with everything else.

Not even Carrie Bradshaw herself can escape the winter wardrobe blues.

Sarah Jessica Parker ditched the couture for complete coverage while out and about with son James in New York yesterday. If you look closely, you'll notice she and James are wearing matching booties. They don't look like Christian Louboutin or Jimmy Choo to me...

The actress covered her face with a Louis Vuitton scarf while walking through the Miami Airport yesterday. If her makeup underneath looked anything like it did at the Y100 Jingle Ball, perhaps she did herself a favor.

Dare to Wear: Jessica Simpson

I feel like I'm a mom whose daughter, in this case Jessica Simpson, was just expelled from school.

As one of Jess' biggest supporters, I constantly find myself sticking up for the singer. '"Dukes of Hazzard" was sort of funny! So she put on a few pounds! Who's Tony Romo, anyway?!" That said, you can only imagine my disappointment when, after I thought things had taken a turn for the better, she was spotted wearing this.

Her getup almost reminds me of something Britney Spears would've worn (minus the jacket or, let's be honest, perhaps a top all together) pre head shaving.

Dare to Wear: Taylor Momsen

Dear Taylor Momsen,
If you feel a little wind chill throughout your entire thigh region it's most likely due to the fact that you are LITERALLY OUTSIDE!

The "Gossip Girl" actress, whose schooling apparently consists of studying Victoria's Secret catalogs, headed to the set in New York wearing thigh-high tights with garters and, well, that was pretty much it from the waist down.

What's great is that she appears to be shyly tugging at the bottom of her skirt in an attempt to cover more ground, as if she had no idea it was so short until being photographed. Get a room!

Dare to Wear: Paris Hilton

With all the money she has, it amazes me that Paris Hilton has yet to purchase a mirror.

The heiress had a Marsha Brady moment while walking the streets of Los Angeles in a multi-colored shift dress, brown tights and shoes and bejeweled hippie headband.

If you take a closer look, you'll notice she kept her eyes closed. I just wish I'd known enough to have done the same.

Dare to Wear: Rihanna

Rihanna rocked a rather peculiar style for the pre-taping of NBC's "New Year's Eve With Carson Daly" in New York.

The singer appears to have multiple costuming personalities, having combined peasant pants, corset, fur coat and a netted top hat. If you look closely, you'll even notice spikes protruding from her pearls.

What would Audrey Hepburn say?!

Dare to Wear: Chloe Sevigny

Looks like Chloe Sevigny had a bad case of jungle fever this past weekend.

The courageous "Big Love" actress fell prey to a pair of leopard-print harem pants, which she paired with a see-through (and ripped) tank, at the "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done" premiere in Los Angeles. At least this time, she attempted to cover up her bra, which is more than she did for the Prada Book Launch Party back in November.

Dare to Wear: Eva Mendes

When it comes to matching, I'm flexible (case in point: right now I'm wearing grey jeans tucked into camel-colored rider boots), so I wasn't exactly phased by Eva Mendes' white dress-black tights pairing at last night's "Sherlock Holmes" premiere in New York.

What pushed me to the edge was the silver and navy blue blazer that was then thrown on top of her ensemble, proving that incorporating menswear (especially when two toned, shiny and ill-fitting) into your outfit doesn't always mean chic (this one meant eek!).
