Tokidoki Barbie Owners Cash In on eBay

Just last week, the internet was abuzz with news regarding the release of Mattel's latest, and perhaps most cutting-edge, plastic persona: the Tokidoki Barbie.

While the newest member of the Mattel family raised controversy among parents for her bad girl ensemble (equipped with leopard leggings and a pink wig) and, more concerning, upper-body ink display, she doesn't seem to have the same effect on collectors and retailers, for whom the Tokidoki Barbie is proving a Jesse James/Kat Von D-worthy match made in toy heaven.

As of today, the sold out Tokidoki Barbie, which originally retailed for $50, is already selling upward of $300 (I saw bids as high as $375) on eBay, which has become the official second-stop shop for the scarcely supplied and highly demanded (Missoni for Target being the latest collection to draw serious PayPal blood).

In Stores Now: H&M's Fall Conscious Collection

Calling all ladies who lunch!

H&M's Fall Conscious Collection of "Mad Men" worthy (and eco-friendly) dresses, separates, coats and accessories has officially arrived.

Highlights include a Dolce & Gabbana-esque cream-lace sheath and matching skirt, a beautifully embroidered tulip cloak (which I scooped up for myself today) and a variety of separates (as well as a bag, shoe and home goods) in a signature brush-painted, floral print that created intrigue when worn by Kate Bosworth (see her skirt above) a few weeks back.

Jason Wu Announced as Target's Next Guest Designer

Just days after pictures surfaced of Michelle Obama shopping at Target, Jason Wu, who caught his big break when the first lady wore his gown to the Inaugural Ball, is being announced as the next designer to collaborate on a collection for Target this winter.

Following the footsteps of Proenza Schouler, Thakoon and, most recently, Missoni (the collaboration responsible for crashing Target's website), Jason Wu's collection will include apparel, scarves and handbags (a first for Target's designer collabs) ranging from $20-$60, available at Target stores and target.com beginning February 5, 2012.
