This week was all about texture and sparkle. And the winners are...

Michelle Williams glowing in Jason Wu at the Venice Film Festival. Between the chiffon bow along the neckline and allover beading, this champagne-colored gown (from the designer's Resort 2011 collection) is the epitome of glam.

Leighton Meester rocking a teal Versus mini with cutouts at Fashion's Night Out: The Show. The "Gossip Girl" star's Christian Louboutin ankle boots add a sporty kick to this edgy number.

Dianna Agron posing in Carolina Herrera at the "Glee" Season 2 screening premiere in Los Angeles. The bright yellow hue and bold, black embroidering along the neckline offer a fresh take on this otherwise retro dress.

Blake Lively sparkling in Chanel at the Chanel Soho Boutique Re-Opening. While, at first glance, I didn't quite know what to make of this dress, it didn't take me long to fall for the deep shades of purple and allover sequin detailing. It's definitely a new look for the actress.

Rachel Bilson sporting Chanel at the Chanel Soho Boutique Re-Opening. Long pieces of black and white fringe add more dimension to the otherwise flat color and shape of this dress.

Style Showdown: Leighton Meester vs. Victoria Beckham

Leighton Meester is stealing one look after another!

Not only was the "Gossip Girl" caught wearing the same Alice + Olivia skirt as actress Jessica Lowndes, but she was spotted in the same champagne sheath as previously worn by Victoria Beckham (the dress is from her collection).

It's not easy going up against the very woman behind the designer duds in showdown question, and in this case, I'm going to have to give this one to V-Becks.

Red-Carpet Recap: Fashion's Night Out: The Show

In celebration of Fashion Week (which officially kicks off tomorrow and boasts a huge Fashion's Night Out celebration throughout the city and beyond Friday), stars attended Fashions Night Out: The Show last night in New York.

Judging from last night's duds, some of my Fashion Week wardrobes to watch include those of Leighton Meester (shown in an edgy, teal cutout bustier dress from Versus), Blake Lively (who pushed her usual style limits in a tribal-print number from Marchesa) and Fashion Week favorite Olivia Palermo (who looked flirty in a floral, off-the-shoulder dress paired with a peony clutch).

Style Showdown: Leighton Meester vs. Jessica Lowndes

Jessica Lowndes was spotted wearing a sponge-dotted Alice + Olivia skirt and a black tank at the 8th Annual BAFTA/LA TV Tea Party in Los Angeles.

Just days later, Leighton Meester wore the same skirt with a gold Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse while filming "Gossip Girl" in New York.

Leighton's gold lame top, oversize burgundy handbag and grey booties added a lot of dimension to her (or shall I say Miss Blair Waldorf's) look, so I'm giving this one to her.

I'm Obsessed With: Leighton Meester's Nanette Lepore Lady Gambler Dress

Have I mentioned that I LOVE mix-and-match styles?

Leighton Meester looked adorable while channeling Blair Waldorf in a bright, multi-patterned Nanette Lepore dress on the "Gossip Girl" set in New York yesterday.

She topped off the colorful creation, which retails for $368 on revolveclothing.com, with her signature Tiffany & Co. key charm.

In Blair Waldorf's Closet

After a small dry spell (make that drought), actress Leighton Meester finally got back to channeling her inner "Queen B" on the "Gossip Girl" Season 4 set in Paris last week.

Some of my favorite, Blair Waldorf-worthy looks, to have surfaced thus far (from left to right) include:

-an adorable, cherry- and apple-print bubble-hem dress from the Moschino Spring 2010 collection. The dress was paired with a light blue beret, purple handbag and cuff bracelets.
-a bright pink Marc Jacobs dress with an oversize bow along the bodice and Zanotti for Balmain gladiator sandals (and that same purple handbag)
- a vibrant purple dress with gold-embellished shawl and Christian Louboutin pumps
-an orange-red, organza Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2010 gown paired with a fuchsia clutch

Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture F/W 2011 Recap

Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture F/W 2011 is in full swing. Some of my favorite celeb looks to have surfaced so far include:

Blake Lively in a bohemian Chanel Resort dress at the Chanel show. From Blake's colorful earrings to her T-strap platforms, this look has fresh and flirty written all over it.

Olivia Palermo rocking a fuchsia leopard-print dress at the Elie Saab show. Never one to shy away from a bold print, "The City" star ups the ante with a more neutral leopard belt.

Jessica Alba in a full-skirted dress from the Chanel Spring 2010 collection at the Chanel show. While I love the dress, I would've preferred to see it paired with red shoes to tie together the matching lip and belt.

Claire Danes wearing an ombre Armani Prive sheath at the designer's show. The actress accessorized her pastel creation with gold peep-toes and a matching gold clutch.

Leighton Meester sporting a leather Chanel sheath at the Chanel show. While I love this dress, I would've liked to see Leighton forgo the heavy necklace and bangle. The dress makes a statement on its own.

Dare to Wear: Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester opted for a black leather sheath from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2010 collection for the Chanel Fall 2010 Couture presentation in Paris.

While I love the dress, I can't help but think her matching black and gold Christian Louboutin booties and statement jewelry are a little overkill.

Leighton Meester wore this lifeless Herv� L�ger by Max Azria dress at a recent Herbal Essence event in Madrid.

It appears the actress tried, and failed, to liven things up with a pair of gold, ankle-strap heels.
