This week was all about mixing things up. And the winners are...

Dita Von Teese in Jenny Packham at Perez Hilton’s "Blue Ball" Birthday Celebration. Allover multi-size sequins added a fresh touch to this classic cobalt gown, which is my favorite of the five.

Malin Akerman in Vivienne Westwood at the Vivienne Westwood LA Store Opening. While somewhat simple in design, this graphic-print sheath oozed sex appeal. I only wish that Malin had opted for a sleeker shoe (her peep-toe platforms proved a bit clunky for the rest of her look).

Abbie Cornish in Alberta Ferretti at the "Sucker Punch" premiere in London. The actress, who appears to be on a roll lately, looked nothing short of enchanting in this whimsical, gardenesque gown.

Diane Kruger in Jason Wu at the 2011 Green Auction. A white underskirt added an element of suprise to this otherwise straightforward, full-skirted dress, which Diane accessorized with tribal earrings and satin pumps.

Vanessa Hudgens in Alberta Ferretti at the "Sucker Punch" premiere in London. While Vanessa has had no shortage of red carpet mishaps as of late, she fully redeemed herself in this romantic, jewel-encrusted gown, which boasted a sexy open back.
