This Week's Fab Five
This week was all about Golden Globes and platinum poise. And the winners are...
Halle Berry rocking a black silk Kaufman Franco gown at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards. Few and far between are the days that I haven't approved of what Halle was wearing (with that body, she could make almost anything look good). That said, I really love how this gown struck the perfect balance between soft (lace) and seductive (that would be the plunging neckline).
Olivia Wilde securing her THIRD "Fab" post in a row with a nude sheath from the Spring 2010 Marchesa collection at The Art of Elysium's Third Annual Gala. The soft floral embroidery and airy petals on this otherwise basic strapless bodice create a feeling of true enchantment. I also like how the actress stuck with nude heels as to not distract from the details.
Amber Heard ravishing in a lipstick-red Christian Dior gown at The Art of Elysium's Third Annual Gala. At first glance, I didn't know how to pinpoint my feelings for this dress. At second glance, I was in love. Red lipstick and nails seal the deal for this old-fashioned fireball.
Camilla Belle sparkling in a crystal-encrusted Giorgio Armani dress at the InStyle/Time Warner Bros. Golden Globes after party. While the pattern and cut of this dress are no doubt flattering, the origamic panels along the neckline are what makes it. (See who else wore this dress).
Christina Aguilera working a pale-peach Versace creation at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards. The pastel hue of this gown is right on trend for spring. Silver ribbing along the bodice added a modern, if not futuristic, feel. (See who else wore this dress).
