There's no denying that mega-watt sparkle (whether in the form of a shimmery shadow, a disco-bound clutch, or "Wizard of Oz" worthy shoes) is HUGE right now.

That said, even a diva like Beyonce should know that sequins are most effective when used in small (and somewhat separated) doses.

While a sequined sheath OR blazer is a great way to take a look from meek to chic, layering on the luminance has the potential to make you look like a Lite-Brite screen.
