I'm Obsessed With: Charlotte Russe's Fall 2010 Collection
Ever since I attended Charlotte Russe's Fall 2010 preview back in May, where I had the pleasure of peeking into the closet of what struck me as a slightly older (and much more fashion-conscious) Charlotte, I'd been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new goods in CR stores to 1.) make sure they were as high-quality as the samples and 2.) make off with at least one crepe blazer (gotta dream big, right?!).
It's been a slow process, but now that the collection has been rolled out in its entirety, I can honestly say it was worth the wait.
Separated into three key themes: Vintage Treasure, Fleur Fatigue and (my personal favorite) Sport Couture, and boasting a broad and seemingly durable denim spectrum, what really drew me to this collection of clothing and accessories is how versatile and layer-friendly it is, making achieving runway-ready looks on a tight schedule (and even tighter wallet) a cinch. I also find the cropped pants and shorts to be a more conservative fit, so I can wear them to work.
