Apparently, Demi Lovato was under the impression that this year's Teen Choice Awards was going to be held in a darkroom, because the actress opted for a full-on fluorescent ensemble consisting of a bright yellow, lace BCBG Max Azria dress and lemongrass platforms.

While I appreciate Demi's bold approach to the neon trend, I tend to prefer the hot hue in small doses, such as in the form of a top or an accessory.
