Coming Soon: "Dragon Tattoo" for H&M

In celebration of the U.S. release of David Fincher's version of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," the film's costume designer Trish Summerville has created a women's collection with pieces inspired by "Dragon Tattoo" anti-heroine, Lisbeth Salander.
"Salander's look is very real and very lived in, with pieces that her character has worn for a long time, like her jackets that act as her armour to shield her from the world. I wanted the collection to have the essence and strength of Salander, with a fashion edge, and I'm pleased with the result!," said Summerville.
The 30-piece collection (see it here), which will focus on leather jackets and pants, torn jeans and slouchy hoodies with a "dark urban feel," will be available in over 175 H&M stores beginning Dec. 14.
Are you excited for H&M's "Dragon Tattoo" inspired collection, or do you think this is just another example of a brand's easy attempt to capitalize on the entertainment industry? (For instance, some have already responded to the news with mocks as to when the "Twilight" finale collection will be out.)
