Worst Dressed at the 2012 Grammy Awards

Posted by kgranero 1:11pm GMT

From "RoboCop" to Tassle Pits, the 2012 Grammy Awards had no shortage of cuckoo contenders.

Red (carpet) flags included Sasha Gradiva (who accessorized with an armful of guns), Bonnie McKee (who looked like she had gold-spun hair cascading from her armpits), Robyn (who took her look to new heights with mega-wedge work boots) and last, but certainly not least, Nicki Minaj (who payed tribute to her new single "Roman Holiday" in a hooded Versace ensemble, accompanied by a costumed pope).

Who was your worst dressed at the 2012 Grammys?

Second Helpings: Nadeea Recycles Her Lacy Bodysuit

Posted by kgranero 12:33pm GMT

Nadeea Volianova thought this lacy bodysuit was so nice (for what reason I will never know), she wore it twice!

And not just twice, but to the same event (the Grammy Awards) two years in a row, attempting to reinvent her look with her beloved bedazzled bra and equally sparkly sandals.

Which look, if any, is your favorite? Weigh in below!

Ligament-Print Leggings: Love 'Em or Leave 'Em?

Posted by kgranero 5:13pm GMT

Forget removing layers of clothing. Black Milk Clothing company has designed a pair of leggings that will make your legs look like they're missing a layer of skin!

The Queensland-based company's target market currently includes Lady Gaga (owner of the infamous meat dress) and Heidi Klum, who proved she's got muscle (or many of them) in a ligament-airbrushed bodysuit this past Halloween. Gutsy or just plain grotesque?

What's your take on ligament-print leggings?

Style Showdown: Keke Palmer vs. Taylor Swift

Posted by kgranero 5:53pm GMT

Keke Palmer professed her love of lamps? in a chandelier print Ted Baker dress at a recent event held at Planet Hollywood.

If you recall, Taylor Swift debuted the swing dress at her Wonderstruck fragrance launch back in October.

While both ladies pulled this literal print style off with flying colors, Taylor's black tight and shoe pairing made for a more streamlined look, so I'm giving this one to her.

Who looked lovelier in Ted Baker?

Furple Vests: Trend or Foe?

Posted by kgranero 12:44pm GMT

Never one to shy away from a little color (er, hence the blue 'do), Katy Perry followed the lead of Kourtney Kardashian and Kyle Richards (who rocked nearly identical maroon fur vests one day apart in December) by wearing a "furple" vest to DIRECTV's Sixth Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl After Party at Victory Field in Indianapolis this past weekend.

While I personally own two faux fur vests (one black, one brown), burgundy reads a little too "Barney" for me.

What's your take on furple vests?

Eva Mendes for Marie Claire March 2012

Posted by kgranero 12:15pm GMT

Eva Mendes is a beaded bombshell in a jeweled (and partially sheer) Dolce & Gabbana bustier on Marie Claire's March 2012 cover.

Inside the issue, the actress opens up about "The Place Beyond the Pines" co-star (ahem, and boyfriend) Ryan Gosling, her personal idols and her body image:

"It doesn't matter what you have or what you look like. It's something everyone has to work at. I realize I have contributed to a certain happy, healthy, empowered image, but that's not all of me. I feel it's important to let women know that I have similar struggles. What I tell girls is what they don't like about themselves now, they will probably end up loving as an adult, because that's what happened to me. When I am complimented on things that I didn't like when I was 13, like my overbite and my mole, that’s when you realize that your imperfections are why people love you," said Eva.

Check out another photo from Eva's va-va-voom shoot below, and find more of her interview at marieclaire.com.

Mad Hatters at the Elisa Palomino Show

Posted by kgranero 1:50pm GMT

Hat hair beware!

Designer Elisa Palomina presented a train of colorful toppers for her Madrid Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week presentation yesterday.

Between what looked like butterfly wings, mini top hats and flower beds, it was hard to concentrate on anything below the brow.
