Sound Off: Who Should Riley Choose? Kyle or Evan?

Posted By kim_messina 3:02pm GMT

We're only two episodes into the second season of "The Client List" and Riley is more conflicted than ever! With Kyle back in the picture (and in jail!), his presence has become a major bump in the road to romance for Evan and Riley. It seems that every time they're about to kiss trouble comes knocking on the door...literally. As much as Riley wants to be with Evan, Kyle is Katie and Travis' father, which is a major reason why Riley is thinking of giving him another chance. It's one crazy love triangle!

Countdown to Season 2: Spotlight on Season 2

Posted By kim_messina 10:00am GMT

After last season’s cliffhanger finale, season two of "The Client List" promises to be no easier for Riley Parks at home or at work. After Kyle returned in the Season 1 finale, for better or for worse, Riley now must walk the fine line between her anger and love for him and the romantic feelings she has for her brother-in-law Evan. This season Riley also takes a larger role at the spa, resulting in added power, responsibility and burden, further complicating her life.

New threats abound this season and trust becomes an overwhelming issue for Riley as everyone, even those she believes she can count on the most, seems to be hiding their own secret.

Countdown to Season 2: Spotlight on Riley's Downtime

Posted By kim_messina 10:00am GMT

Massages aren't the only thing that Riley likes to do. When she's not giving her clients happy endings, Riley enjoys what every girl does: a stiff drink and karaoke. In Episode 2, Riley let her hair down, grabbed a few drinks with the girls from The Rub and sang her heart out to Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats."

But Riley is a homebody at the end of the day. She loves watching movies with her BFF Lacey and playing with her kids, Katie and Travis. And since Kyle was out of the picture for most of Season 1, Riley got her kids all to herself!

Countdown to Season 2: Spotlight on Season 1 Social Events

Posted By kim_messina 10:00am GMT

Everyone who is anyone makes an appearance at every Beaumont social event, no matter the circumstance. If you're a no-show, be prepared for the entire town to start buzzing about your personal life. And that's how Linette convinced Riley to go to Linette's benefit in Episode 4. Thanks to Mary Sue Bernard, who broke her hip, Linette was made co-chair with "that shrewd" Taylor Berkhalter. Riley did not want to go at first, saying that it would be weird to be there without Kyle. But Linette reminded Riley that "people will talk" and that she will be known as the "poor girl who's husband ran off," so begrudgingly, Riley went and Evan agreed to be her date. (He ended up missing the dance because of a job interview.)

To cover Riley's secret, Linette told Taylor that Kyle got a promotion in Dallas and that's why he hasn't been home. But their cover was blown when Riley decided to come clean and told everyone that he left weeks ago.

Riley also went out on the town in Episode 9 on her first date with Dr. Mark Flemming. The pair went to the Country Club. Read more about their date here.

Not only does Jennifer Love Hewitt act, but she has killer pipes, too. In Season 1, Episode 2, she showed them off when she sang "Before He Cheats" during a karaoke outing with the Spa Girls. (PS: Want to know what other songs were in "The Client List"? Check out the official music guide.)

JLH took her love for music to the next level by filming two official music videos for "The Client List." In Season 1, she sang "Hey Big Spender," and the song for Season 2 is "I'm A Woman."

Countdown to Season 2: Spotlight on Riley's Romances

Posted By kim_messina 10:00am GMT

It took some time for Riley to get over the shock of Kyle leaving her, but by Episode 5, she was ready to jump back in the dating saddle. Well, actually it was Riley's first time dating ever—Kyle was her high school sweetheart.

In Episode 5, Riley's client Josh asked her out, but Riley was hesitant at first, only saying maybe. Josh went the extra step and left behind a cell phone with just his number saved on it for Riley as a gift. With a push by the Spa Girls, Riley called Josh and said yes to a date. The two met up and while they hit it off, Josh realized that Kyle could come back at any time and the two decided to end things before they begin.

In Episode 9, Riley went on a date with Dr. Mark Flemming, a single-father widower who is the dad of Katie's classmate, Zack. They went a date at the Country Club, where Evan and Selena crashed. Mark asked the pair to join them, and Selena had a bad attitude the whole time. Evan eventually left the situation and Mark told Riley that Selena would never get membership to the club because she is not "club material." Riley is offended by his remarks, left and met up with Evan. Evan and Riley had their first kiss that night.

Countdown to Season 2: Spotlight on Season 1 Clients

Posted By kim_messina 10:00am GMT

Wade, The Camel, Don, Grant, Josh, Nathan, Geoffrey, Derek, Luke and Ruth, oh my! Whether they just wanted to talk of got a "little something extra," Riley's clients certainly had everyone talking last season. Here's our refresher course. (No really, thank us later—it was a hard day at the office researching these shirtless guys...and Betty White.):

Wade (Episode 1): This oil business man turned real estate mogul had abs of steel, chiseled jawline and grey-green eyes. But the poor guy was super lonely because he travels so much. He promised to bring Riley back something from Paris.

TJ aka The Camel (Episode 2): Riley declared him "one of the most adorable guys in Sugar Land." This operations manager of the Offshore Oil Rig in The Gulf also plays amateur baseball and loves country music.

Don (Episode 3): After high school in Texas, Don moved to Denver for college where he played hockey. He was gonna go pro but discovered a passion for business and never looked back. However, he was recently fired (and also recently divorced).

Grant (Episode 4): Good friends with fellow Spa Girls Kendra's fiance, Grant hinted to Riley that he was going to give away their secret. But after a little persuasion from Riley, he kept his lips sealed.

Josh (Episode 5): Josh walked into the massage room with a book on tape. He owns a BBQ restaurant and has a serious passion for food. In fact, his biggest turn on is a nice rack (of ribs).

Nathan (Episode 6): At a young age, Nathan's mom ditched their family and his dad turned to drinking and took all his anger out on Nathan. Nathan eventually went to live with his grandparents and never spoke to his dad again.

Geoffrey (Episode 7): Originally from Seattle, Geoffrey moved to Sugar Land after being scouted by my client Hank to run the technical support side of his energy company. Riley set up a faux date with him to make him feel more comfortable with asking girls out.

Derek (Episode 8 - pictured): The only boy in a family of seven girls, Derek has a lot of wisdom about girls—which is great for his girlfriend, Skyler.

Luke (Episode 9): Riley used to babysit "Lukey" when he was younger. Now as an adult, Luke traveled to Bali where he studied technique under a world-renowned yogi. Luke's also best friends with Kendra and harbored romantic feelings for her.

Ruth (Episode 10): Wife (well, almost ex) of Riley's client Earl, Ruth had been trapped in a loveless marriage since the 1960s. She met new crush Bud with lawn bowling with the girls and instantly became smitten. She hopes to marry him.

Countdown to Season 2: Spotlight on New Faces

Posted By kim_messina 10:00am GMT

Two new faces are coming to The Rub in Season 2: Derek Malloy (Rob Mayes) and Nikki Shannon (Laura-Leigh).

Derek is a hot and sexy rodeo sports therapist who becomes the first male masseur at The Rub. Derek is a former Army vet, who covers the psychic scars of battle with humor and an enthusiasm for his new job: being the only man working alongside a bunch of stunning women.

Nikki is Riley's newest hire at The Rub of Sugar Land. Spa Girl Nikki has a fresh face and perky personality to match. It's easy to assume she's the type of girl who would grow up to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, but make no mistake, there's much more to this girl than meets the eye. She's got a knack for numbers and math and enrolls in school part time to learn accounting.
