I think this is a new and refreshing show. I love the way they bring different cultures together to show how much we are all really alike, it's fun and creative I look forward to seeing more episodes and more show like this. Thankyou for taking a chance.
I really appreciate dolencia's comment because the "blended" family IS, in fact, more common now - at least in the African American community. It is refreshing to see the adults behaving positively instead of the usual destructive manner especially in serving as model behavior for the subsequent helpless children. I'm grateful for this show!
Episodes 8 & 9????? TOTAL BUUUUSHHH!!!!! I'm very disappointed in the storybook "maturity" "happily ever after" attitude imposed on this awkward and emotional situation. I know this is just a sitcom but my heart dropped when I saw these. There's one thing in rising above a situation, there's quite another to be dilusional.
Yes but it's the right thing to do, because Paula is not nasty to Sherri and they will be in each other's lives due to their kids and Kevin. It's best to make a family situation, even one like this, work for the sake of the children. The "extended or blended" family is more usual now.
