The Look: Tips for Coloring at Home
Fading, uneven haircolor can be frustrating, and in Sarae’s case, it’s happening at the roots and midline of her hair. In just 10 minutes, I can even out her color with Garnier Herbashine, an at-home, ammonia-free coloring kit.
- To fix uneven color, apply the color to the faded area (roots) first; letting it sit for 5 minutes. Then comb it through the rest of your hair, letting it sit for an additional 5 minutes.
- For best results choose a shade no more than two levels lighter or darker than your current color
- Perform a Strand Test to preview your color.
- Extend the life of your color with Garnier Fructis Color Shield system.
