    Self-taught. Learned to sew from my mom. Taught myself pattern making, draping, etc. from books.

    Taking a theme through several pieces, sewing fast and seeing things from a construction point of view.

    Mixing architectural and organic elements. The landscapes of Charleston are pretty killer, too.

    Chiffon, charmeuse anything with glow and body. Love texture. Crinkly silks, metallics, etc. yum yum!

    Bit of both. Generally, if I start with a sketch it gets changed extensively in the draping process.
