Q: When did you realize you had designer potential?

A: When I was color-coordinating my clothes in elementary school.

A: A degree at FIDM LA.

Q: Strengths as a designer?

A: My fine hand.

Q: Weaknesses as a designer?

A: My sketching.

Q: What are your influences?

A: Music and the style that goes with said music. I've always had a very close-knit relationship with the two. I find they go hand in hand with creating a look.

A: Either opera, electro or Broadway musicals. Or a combination of...

Q: Fashion must?

A: A COMPLETE look. Not just clothes, but the hair and makeup done too!

A: UGGS! and this crazy LAZY fad where people think sweatsuits are fashion! I gag when I see people in public in their pajamas.

Q: Ugliest item of clothing/accessory you've worn?

A: I was into the '70s look when I was younger… ugh.

Q: Favorite style icon?

A: Tilda Swinton.

Q: What would you design for the First Lady?

A: Definitely something a bit younger and less hyper-conservative. Classy with an edge.

Q: Celebrity you wish you could design for?

A: Tilda Swinton. I would love to just go to town and drape like 30 yards of fabric in one dress especially with the asymmetrical feel she works on the red carpet. Love it.

Q: Favorite supermodel muse?

A: She's not really around anymore, but I always loved Nadja Auermann's look, especially when she bleached her eyebrows!

A: I named it Alexander Pope already.

Q: If you weren't designing, you'd be...?

A: I have no idea… I would be designing.

Q; Places/cultures you wish you could design for?

A: I still think I make a good roommate, but my past 15 roommates most likely wouldn't agree. But then again, I can say the same about them. I make a good roommate because I am clean, social and I like to cook, and I never cook for only one person….

Q: Your take on team challenges:?

A: Neither. I think they could be interesting, because sometimes a collaboration could be gold.

Q: What do you look for in a model?

A: Height for sure; I like them tall. I find that I choose blondes more, and the most important thing is their walk. I just can't get past that if it isn't up to par.

Q: Do you think you can win "Project Runway"?

A: I think I can. I bring not only fashion but a pretty extensive costume background to the table, and I think that knowledge really helps me design some creatively interesting clothing...
