Q: When did you realize you had designer potential?
A: When I was in high school and I took a pre-college program in fashion design.
Q: First garment you ever made?
A: Not completely sure, but from what I can remember, a striped green and blue tank. I sewed each strip of color togther to make the fabric, and then I made the tank.
Q: What's your design training/schooling, etc.?
A: Went to Pratt Institute for fashion design and graduated in 2005 with a BFA.
Q: Have you won any awards for your designs/work related to design?
A: Yes, junior year I won the Joseph Citarella Resort Wear Award.
Q: Strengths as a designer?
A: Aesthetic, use of fabrications, and knowing a woman's body.
Q: Weaknesses as a designer?
A: Trying to do too much.

A: My rope dress. It stands out, it takes a a lot of time, it's provocative.

Q: Your take on team challenges:
A: HATE, as a designer you are limited on creativity, and you're judged on participation as well as how well you worked with other people and took their advice. There are too many areas to concentrate on.
Q: What do you look for in a model?
A: I look for a model that will best bring out a piece or collection. I'm looking for height, facial features, walk, as well as their natural flow to make sure it all represents what I need.
Q: Do you think you can win "Project Runway"?
A: YES, because my aesthetic matched with my drive is something not many people possess.
