Q: When did you realize you had designer potential?

A: About the age of 16.

Q: First garment you ever made?

A: A pair of pants with a one-inch waistband at the age of 10.

Q: What's your design training/schooling?

A: Two years at Brooks College in Long Beach, California, and two years at F.I.T. in NYC.

Q: Have you won any awards?

A Best designer in graduating class at both design schools. Chosen to exhibit at the Waldorf-Astoria as part of "The best in the year of fashion."

Q: Strengths as a designer?

A Using unexpected textures, items and trims together.

Q: Weaknesses as a designer?

A That I don't have 10 personal sewers!

Q: What have been your influences?

A: Past: Films and glamour. Now: Line, color and texture.

Q: What's playing on your iPod while you design?

A Adult alternative. The later it gets at night, the more heavy rock plays.

Q: Favorite material/fabric to work with?

A: Wool, raw silk, linen. Metal, seat belts.

Q: Item you're most proud to have designed?

A:Don't have just one favorite!

A:Moschino, Oscar, Terry Mugler.

A: Black, cream, light gray, brown, white, burgundy.

Q: Biggest fear as a designer?

A: To end up in hell wearing the same exact outfit every day - made of polyester!

A: A smile.

Q: Fashion faux pas that drives you crazy?

A:Wearing pants below the underwear.

Q: Ugliest item of clothing/accessory you've worn?

A:Wide, bell-bottomed pants.

Q: Favorite style icon?

A: Grace Kelly.

Q: How would you dress Michelle Obama?

A:Something lavender or periwinkle.

Q: Dream celebrity client? What would you make for him/her?

A: Halle Berry and Natalie Portman. A sexy, shirtless pantsuit.

A: Gisele.

A: I DO call it Lantie Foster.

Q: If you weren't designing, you'd be...

A:A lawyer.

Q: Any cultures/places you wish you could design for?

A: Love to design IN Italy.

A:Right where it is.

A: Sweet.

A :A handful.

Q: Why are you easy or difficult to live with?

A: I've done it many times all over the world in model apartments. Still friends with many of them, so I guess I was not too bad to live with.

A:A friend's kitchen.

A:Trying to get my new parakeet to sit on my finger. He is very stubborn.

A: The original "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."

A: "Project Runway" emailed me a reminder and I figured it was time.

A :Christian Siriano.

A :Pet store.

A :The designers' mothers.

Q: What's your take on team challenges?

A: Not so sure team challenges work so well.

A:Curves, curves, curves.and a smooth walk.
