When did you realize you had designer potential?
When I was young I would have my mom edit and create dresses and outfit.
First garment you ever made?
First outfit I made was in high school. It was a '70s disco costume.
What's your design training/schooling?
Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing, Los Angeles.
Have you won any awards?
I won a partial scholarship to attend FIDM.
Strengths as a designer?
My strength is knitwear. I can make various looks from lounge, dressy, day, to evening in knits. I am strong in sketching, pattern-making, and concept.
Weaknesses as a designer?
I hardly ever sew wovens. I don't sew by hand, and I rarely use zippers.
What have been your influences?
In the past it was my mother's style. She has great style and made most of her own outfits. My own daily life, which includes my friends and family. We are all very busy, on-the-go women. I like to create styles that are fashionable, modern, statement pieces that are easy to wear.
What's playing on your iPod while you design?
Right now Calvin Harris, Tiesto's new album, or Foster the People.
Favorite material/fabric to work with?
Crocheted knits and printed jersey.
Item you're most proud to have designed?
The Angel V top. Super easy to wear my modern shape. It's been one of my best sellers and it never seems to disappoint.

Printed two-tone maxi dress and a yellow cardigan.

Japan. I love how they will fully embrace style.

Why are you easy or difficult to live with?
I'm easy to live with because I'm easygoing and I love to consider others. I can not be because I'm slow to get ready and I am forgetful.

Love to collaborate. Hate because you are asked if your partner should stay or if you should.
What do you look for in a model?
I like them to be balanced from the top and bottom. Thin legs, interesting/different face and features.
Do you think you can win PR?
Yes! Fashion is my life's inspiration. I love how the right clothes can actually create a positive emotional change. When you're loving your digs, you love life a little more. When you're loving them because I made them for you, I'm loving life with you! Besides having the emotional connection to fashion, i have the talent and fresh approach for the marketplace.
