When did you realize you had designer potential?
I realized that I could be a designer at age 18 when I designed my own garment for prom.
What is your design training?
I have a degree from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago.
Strengths as a designer?
My designs are innovative, sexy and smart. I work well under pressure and I can design for every shape.
Weaknesses as a designer?
Sometimes I overthink things and can be too critical of myself.
How did you end up auditioning for “Project Runway”?
My decision to audition for PR was very intentional. This was my fourth time auditioning and it felt right this time. I’m grateful for the challenge of coming back year after year. It taught me a lesson in endurance and confidence.
Challenge you wish they’d bring back?
The stilt challenge.
Challenge you hope they don’t?
The party store challenge.
What’s your take on team challenges?
In order to be a good leader, first you have to learn how to be lead. Team challenges are part of that.
Do you think you can win “Project Runway”?
I absolutely can win. It’s my time. I’m ready and was born for this.
