24, San Francisco, CA, #DesignerBrandon
When did you realize you had designer potential?
It was at a young age, around 13 or so, I knew that’s what I wanted to do. It wasn’t until design school I figured out my potential.
What is your design training?
I got my bachelor’s in fashion design at The Academy of Arts in San Francisco. I’ve been designing for about five years.
Strengths as a designer?
I believe that I am tasteful, thoughtful, meticulous, and conceptual.
Weaknesses as a designer?
Timely order of operations.
How did you end up auditioning for “Project Runway”?
I never auditioned before and an old professor recommended I give it a shot and sent me the link to apply.
What’s your take on team challenges?
I’m not really excited about this one, but I’m going into it trying my best to make sure my voice gets heard the best way possible.
Do you think you can win “Project Runway”?
I do. My only concern is time. I’ve never worked under such strict order. For example music is a huge part of my life–I go off vibes–and to throw me in a room with 30 minutes to shop, 12 hours to design with everyone watching… I think you get me. But put all that aside, I’m hoping my taste and creative abilities can outshine the difficulties and get me the W.
