Season 6 designer Carol Hannah Whitfield recently launched her first wedding collection of fabulous dresses and gowns any bride-to-be would have trouble committing to just one of! Thanks to our latest Lifetime Movie Network movie, "Double Wedding," we've made the selection process a little less difficult.
One lucky grand-prize winner will receive the sweet "Spring Street" wedding dress. The first-place prize is Carol Hannah's coveted "Twinkle Cuff" accessory. Enter the "Double Wedding" Dress Giveaway now, and for more wedding excitement, tune in to LMN on June 20 at 8 pm et/5 pm pt for the premiere of "Double Wedding," starring Tia and Tamera Mowry.
"Project Runway" Season 6 winner Irina Shabayeva showed off her Fall 2010 collection at New York Fashion Week, and it was a sensation, complete with luxe looks, hand-painted fabrics and fantastic feathers. No stranger to using unconventional materials on the runway (Remember the newspaper challenge?), Irina showcased her innovative skills once again by using Tupperware products in her Fall 2010 line. Check out the close-up shots of how she used them in this video clip:
Season 6 runner-up Althea Harper also presented a fall collection at Fashion Week. She played up curves by featuring cutouts in all the right places, accompanied by slick styling and chunky accessories. She created a cool, urban feel every woman would love in her closet, with the perfect mix of sheer fabrics and knits. And, in a total "42nd Street" moment for modeling, "Models of the Runway" Season 1 winner Kalyn Hemphill went from a guest to walking in the show. Talk about a quick change! See photos from her collection now:

Relive Carol Hannah, Althea and Irina taking on Fashion Week one last time now.
"Project Runway" winner Irina Shabayeva thought she was done with challenges, but "Live! With Regis and Kelly" gave her a special one when she was announced as the winner of Season 6. Since the show is in Las Vegas this week, "Live!" asked Irina to design a wedding dress for Kelly Ripa as an homage to the dress Kelly never had when she eloped in Vegas. The dress was revealed on this morning's show:
Watch Kelly work it in the dress Irina had just three days (!) to complete:
And don't worry, you won't be in "Runway" withdrawal for too long. "Project Runway" Season 7 is right around the corner! Back in New York and with more Nina and Michael than you can handle, what's not to love?

Having visited the final three in their hotel rooms during Fashion Week back in February, I will submit myself to a grueling consultation with that guy from "Lie to Me" to attest that, yes, Carol Hannah was definitely every bit as "I-dragged-myself-out-of-my-death-bed-to-be-here" sick as she seemed on TV. And, man, it takes a serious fighting spirit to pull yourself together for one of the biggest moments of your professional life (that will preserved on film for all time) when you're feeling that crappy. After only now hearing Tim's "She’s contagious!" monologue that he offered up to Althea and Irina, I kinda wish I'd had more hand sanitizer with me that day, but don’t we all wish we had Tim's infinite wisdom on hand?
Newest Pussycat Dolls Troupe or the Finalists of "Project Runway" Season 6 and "Models of the Runway"
In fact, Tim's ability to objectively size up any situation — specifically the success (or lack thereof) of a garment — is the reason this man gets paid the big bucks. After probably wishing that Althea lived a bit closer to the tri-state area with all that snow piling up, Tim made his finalist home visits that provided the designers with the first bit of feedback they’ve had since leaving FIDM — and the warmer weather of L.A.
How closely these ladies ultimately followed Tim's suggestions remains to be seen (tune in next week for Part 2 of the finale), but his overall message is something often forgotten: cohesion, cohesion, cohesion. (Oh. And edit, edit, edit.)
Were Althea, Carol Hannah and Irina paired up with the right Season 6 cohorts for the job, or were there better choices that could have been made? Was anyone else surprised that Carol Hannah didn't at least cough in Althea's direction after she scooped up Logan as her partner? C'mon!
