Check out the "Project Runway" Season 7 designers and pick your three favorites for your team. Watch the premiere next Thursday, January 14, at 10 pm et/pt and start playing against your friends, family and coworkers, beginning with Episode 2!
The designers you have selected can earn you points during each episode of the show by doing things like winning a challenge and avoiding elimination, or lose you points by worrying Tim or boring Nina. (Ouch!)
Update: Wednesday, January 13 at 11:30 am at Intersection of 39th and Fashion Ave (7th Ave)
The following designers and models will be appearing:
Anthony L. Williams
Carol Hannah Whitfield
In celebration of "Project Runway's" return to New York for its seventh season, Tim Gunn and Nina Garcia join city officials and fashion industry representatives at street naming ceremony in front of iconic "Needle Threading a Button" sculpture in New York City's Fashion District where Fashion Avenue will be temporarily renamed Project Runway Avenue.
NYC & Company, New York City's official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, will also present a New York City Proclamation deeming Wednesday, January 13 as Project Runway Day, highlighting the show's contribution to New York City’s fashion industry, in anticipation to the premiere of "Project Runway" Season 7 on Thursday, January 14 at 10 pm et/pt on Lifetime Television. City officials will speak about the critical role the fashion industry plays in New York City’s economy.
"Project Runway" mentor Tim Gunn, judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia will join NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta, Lifetime Networks CEO Andrea Wong, Deputy Mayor of Economic Development Robert C. Lieber, Fashion Center BID President Barbara Randal, and several of "Project Runway's" and "Models of the Runway's" past and current season contestants.

"Project Runway" Season 7 designer Jesus Estrada from Mexico (now calling San Diego, CA home) made one of his earliest winning designs for his very own mother in a Mrs. Mexico competition (she even showed up as a model for his casting session!), and never looked back. Grandiose gowns and Dolce and Gabbana have inspired his design aesthetic over the years and will be sure to make a splash on the runway on Season 7... if his designs can literally make it down the catwalk! (He likes his tulle!)
Check out the rest of Jesus' work in his "Project Runway" Portolio and definitely don't miss out on his closet tour video. You may think you're seeing double! (You'll see.)
"Project Runway" Season 7 contestant Emilio Sosa has been a costume designer for over 20 years, crafting pieces for theatrical productions for everything from Broadway shows ("Topdog/Underdog") to A-list diva concert events (a recent Celine Dion world tour).
Click through Emilio Sosa's portfolio to see sketches of his work, and watch his casting session video for the garments that got this design veteran a spot on the show. And seriously don't miss Emilio's closet tour video, because where else can you see someone rock an original Members Only jacket, a Kangol hat and bust out some fly '80s dance moves in 2009? Exactly.
Celebrate the Return of Lifetime Television's "Project Runway" to New York City and Kick Off its Seventh Season With an Exclusive On-Location Bus Tour
New York City (December 21, 2009) — NYC & Company, New York City's marketing, tourism and partnership organization, and The Westin New York at Times Square today announced the start of online bookings for an exclusive hotel promotion to mark the launch of the seventh season of Lifetime Television's "Project Runway", premiering on January 14. Returning to New York City after a brief stint out west, "Project Runway" moves back to where the show originated—the fashion capital of the world. To celebrate the program's return, The Westin New York at Times Square will offer guests a complimentary customized two-hour CitySights "Project Runway" bus tour with their reserved room on select dates between December 29 and January 18. In addition, using one of "Project Runway"'s famous catchphrases, the hotel will be dressed in custom-built "You're In" door hangers, alerting The Westin staff not to disturb guests over the duration of the promotion.
"We are excited to welcome back "Project Runway" to New York City, which served as the vibrant backdrop for the television program for five seasons," said George Fertitta, NYC & Company CEO. "In celebration of the show's homecoming, New York City invites everyone to experience the fashion design landscape that has contributed to so many recognized talents and their creations."
The "Project Runway" bus tour will run on Saturdays January 2, 9, 16, and Sunday, January 10, visiting fashion landmarks as well as sites from past "Project Runway" seasons. Location sites include Bryant Park, home to New York Fashion Week since 1993; Parsons The New School Fashion Design building, the staple setting for each episode's design challenge; and Mood Designer Fabrics, the supplier store for many of the contestants' creations.
"We are thrilled to partner with NYC & Company and "Project Runway" for this exclusive tour, especially as the hotel has been the setting for several past episodes," said Gerard Widder, general manager of The Westin New York at Times Square. "Our proximity to the Fashion District adds another synergy that makes this project work so well."
"Lifetime is looking forward to "Project Runway"'s return to the City where fashion is king. As one of television's hottest shows, we wanted to bring the "Project Runway" experience to fans and tourists alike, to build further awareness of the January 14th launch," said Lew Goldstein, Co-Chief Marketing Officer, Lifetime Networks.
Nightly rates are $269 for a king room with one tour ticket, and $299 for a double room with two tour tickets, not including tax and fees. To book this package, visit westinny.com and enter the rate code RUNWAY.

"Project Runway" Season 7 designer Jesse LeNoir has a last name that sounds inspired by a film genre appropriately enough, as this actor-turned-fashion-designer has a flair for the dramatic in everything from his designs to his audition tape, which looks like it was directed by a Coppola.
Check out Jesse LeNoir's portfolio of past work now, and flip through personal photos to see everything from baby pics to Jesse and his fiancée dressed up like "Project Runway"'s very own Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn for Halloween! Ah, theatre kids.
