Finale Part 1: Carol Hannah's Sickness = No Joke
Having visited the final three in their hotel rooms during Fashion Week back in February, I will submit myself to a grueling consultation with that guy from "Lie to Me" to attest that, yes, Carol Hannah was definitely every bit as "I-dragged-myself-out-of-my-death-bed-to-be-here" sick as she seemed on TV. And, man, it takes a serious fighting spirit to pull yourself together for one of the biggest moments of your professional life (that will preserved on film for all time) when you're feeling that crappy. After only now hearing Tim's "She’s contagious!" monologue that he offered up to Althea and Irina, I kinda wish I'd had more hand sanitizer with me that day, but don’t we all wish we had Tim's infinite wisdom on hand?

Newest Pussycat Dolls Troupe or the Finalists of "Project Runway" Season 6 and "Models of the Runway"
In fact, Tim's ability to objectively size up any situation — specifically the success (or lack thereof) of a garment — is the reason this man gets paid the big bucks. After probably wishing that Althea lived a bit closer to the tri-state area with all that snow piling up, Tim made his finalist home visits that provided the designers with the first bit of feedback they’ve had since leaving FIDM — and the warmer weather of L.A.
How closely these ladies ultimately followed Tim's suggestions remains to be seen (tune in next week for Part 2 of the finale), but his overall message is something often forgotten: cohesion, cohesion, cohesion. (Oh. And edit, edit, edit.)
Were Althea, Carol Hannah and Irina paired up with the right Season 6 cohorts for the job, or were there better choices that could have been made? Was anyone else surprised that Carol Hannah didn't at least cough in Althea's direction after she scooped up Logan as her partner? C'mon!
