ULI- best red carpet/restaurant dress, most growth as a designer, 3 perfectly made and stunning pieces that were both fashion forward and wearable (I didn't love look 1)
Daniel- Lots of growth, perfect dress for nicole kidman, cohesive and fabulous collection that was modern and wearable and a nice surprise amongst all the dresses
Korto- 4 beautiful, wearable pieces, one gorgeous restaurant dress, but the red carpet look was totalyl wrong for nicole kidman
Chris-first two looks=absolutely fabulous, fun, and wearable, look three was a little too costumey (the bust), look four was daring and well made but not a functioning red carpet look
-----
Sweet Pea- look one was gorgeous and a great melding of hard and soft but it was fitted poorly, looks 2 and 4 were droopy and kinda dull, look 3 was very cute
Michael- look 1 was cute but a bit poorly made, the restaurant look was terrible, the yellow and blue one had good ideas but was too much, and the pink one was beautiful but not very modern
Santino- hate that fabric and the fringe.... look 1 was very hollywood, 2 was UGLY, 3 was pretty cute with a different legging, and 4 was just boring for him. All had pretty simple construction and he can do better
Jeffrey- his competition work was so much better. Look one-Love it! Look 2- the jacket is cute, the whole thing is terribly executed and i hate the styling, look 3 was really, really ugly and unflattering, look 4 was HORRIBLE
Korto is so entitled, she acted badly. She has an attitude, she made it really high up in the competition but she can't say anything positive. The reason she lost is because the Red Carpet Dress of the winner HAD to be worn by Nichole Kidman; her Red Carpet Dress wasn't as good. A bit expected, if she had picked a different one to be the red carpet look, i think she would have won. But it's good for her to lose, it's a real learning experience for her. Maybe it will humble her and kick the entitled behavior out the window, she would be better off.
I liked Santino's, Michaels's, Uli's and Jeffry's. I could never narrow it down! I love Sweet Peas too. They all have done so well!
And BTW judges, just because years ago Uli was into bright prints, well this season SHE IS NOT!!! That is totally fine, nothing wrong with that. Michael Kors changes his concept every season!!
I absolutely cannot believe the designer you have chosen. I can see his clothing being sold in some back alley 5 and 10 cent store. Horrible clothes. I cannot imagine the everyday woman looking seriously much less wearing his designs. Shame on you!!!!!!! You should all retire.
There can never be too much Project Runway, so an All Star Challenge was thrilling (even though I missed Laura). I was so proud of Chris! He is always a joy. Korto would have been my choice for winner. I could have done without Santino, and it was great to see Jeffrey pegged a loser. I don't respect his work, and I've always considered him an obnoxious freak. Thank goodness Season 6 has finally made it to TV!
your website is infuriatingly awful. however the backend is set up and streaming video simply does not work. I've been trying for an hour to watch the last few segments of this video and it just won't work.
please partner with hulu or some company that actually knows their ****. for ****'s sake. I don't own a TV so this is the only way I can watch this! It's so frustrating.
Korto totally should have won.. every single piece of hers was beautiful! Daniel had a great dress, 2 ok outfits and a joke of a 4th look, the model looked like a terrorist in the movies with dynamite strapped around her body
Yeah! Totally agree with the Daniel win. Korto needs to get over herself! She rightfully lost to both Leanne AND Daniel. Plus, I'm so SO tired of the "I design for real women" line. Hello, slim fashionable women are REAL women too!
I gave Santino the benefit of the doubt during his season but watching him on the All Star Challenge was painful for me. He is obnoxious, arrogant, and egotistical yet lacks the talent that he would need to have people look past his personality. Stay home Santino!
I wasn't a huge fan of Daniel's collection; I would actually like to have seen Uli win, as I thought her collection was better than both Sweet P's and Chris's. But I'm still glad that he won, and I do think Korto could have been a little more gracious about it.
IT WAS FAIR AND WELL-JUDGED THAT DANIEL KOSOVIC WON.
I do agree that Korto's designs were innovative. But in my honest, unbiased, non-minority-prejudiced opinion, DANIEL KOSOVIC DESERVED TO WIN MOST. His collection was completely beyond surprise and really caught in tune with the aesthetic that the judges were hoping to see from a new, talented young designer.
I respect Korto design. PLEASE DO NOT SAY THAT SHE LOST JUST BECAUSE SHE IS BLACK OR A MINORITY FEMALE. I AM QUITE SURE SOMEONE LATER ON WILL CALL PROJECT RUNWAY RACIST OR WHATEVER JUST BECAUSE THE JUDGES HAPPEN TO BE CAUCASIAN AND EUROPEAN (Heidi is German and DVF is Belgian).
DANIEL KOSOVIC WON because of his talent and excellent presentation of his clothes. ALSO, his work REALLY spoke with Diane Von Furstenberg because he applied some of his designs from DVF's Fashion classes when he studied under her many years back.
I CAN BET SOMEONE WILL START PULLING THE "RACE" CARD SOON.
