Bring us up to speed!
OMG... A lot of doors have opened for me. I have a manufacturing deal in the works and am participating in a big fashion show with 3 other "Project Runway" fashion designers for our Gay Pride Week. Have been super busy with lots of new clients also.
What garment from your season of "Runway" do fans compliment you on the most?
The black suit that I won in my season's first challenge and the garment inspired by my Berlin trip.
What do you think you are best remembered for from your season?
Helping others and just being positive.
Who has been your favorite client to design for?
My favorite client has been the one who has asked for the winning suiting and the garment from Germany.
What celebrities would you love to dress?
What are your strengths as a designer at this point in your career?
My hair and makeup have much improved with the guidance from stylist Leonardo D'Almagro.
How has your design aesthetic changed since your time on the show, if at all?
No, it has stayed the same.
What are your favorite pieces/staple items in your closet?
A black suit from H&M, a pair of Prada black studded loafers and a white shirt.
Which fashion rule do you think is begging to be broken?
White, white and white...all year round.
How do you choose what to pack for "All Stars"?
I think I over-packed...LOL!
What "Project Runway" challenges do you think are the best and worst of all time?
The best was my trip to Germany, the outfit inspired by that. The worst was the duct tape challenge. LOL!
Who is your favorite fellow "Project Runway" designer from any season?
My favorite is Mychael Knight.
What goes through your head when you see yourself on television?
I love what I am doing.
What is the one thing fans still would be surprised to find out about you?
I am a rather shy fella...LOL
What makes you All-Star material?
Being the only one chosen from my season, I am very blessed.
