The Southern Belle

Born and reared in the South, Miranda values her Southern upbringing of hospitality and manners. She is a stay-at-home mom and with the help of her husband, Chris, they raise their son Ledger on a strict schedule. Miranda feels that providing Ledger with a regular routine provides him with a sense of certainty and security. It also allows her the opportunity to set time aside for her and her husband. She knows that even with a schedule, as a mom you just have to do the best you can. Sometimes you mess up but at the end of the day, you want what’s best for your children.

Miranda in Her Own Words:

What does it mean to be a "Wicked Mom"?
Being a "Wicked Mom" means no matter what my child comes first, I keep him on a schedule and sometimes that may interfere with my social events. But my number one priority is the well-being of my son not my social life. All kids are different but Ledger needs some consistency to his day, a predictable sequence that lets him explore the world without worry. He thrives on a routine!

How has being a mother changed your life?
Motherhood puts a different perspective on what’s important in life and changes your priorities. Chris and I both have realized that the only thing in life that matters is our little family. Motherhood is the greatest joy in my life!

What makes you different than all the other moms?
We are all doing the best that we can and sometimes we mess up, but at the end of the day we all want what’s best for our children. I have Ledger on a schedule while other moms don't. Perhaps for more than any other reason, Ledger's routine provides a sense of certainty and security for him. This schedule not only prepares Ledger for what his day will entail, but also allows Chris and I time to share with one another.

What is the most lavish thing you've done for your child?
Smothered him with lots of love and affection.

What do you do for fun?
I’m the Pinterest Queen! I love a good project! I also enjoy decorating and sewing, I’m really crafty! And, of course I love planning parties! Shopping is always fun too whether it’s for my wardrobe or for my home décor.
