Dr. Gregory House (“House”)
Dr. House, played by British actor Hugh Laurie, is the world-renowned chief of Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital's diagnostic department on Fox’s “House.” However, his patients are lucky to even meet him. Often labeled the hospital’s resident curmudgeon with a cane, his unorthodox approach to patient care — and his abuse of Vicodin to “manage” his leg pain — results in constant conflict with his staff and standoffs with his best friend, fellow doctor James Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard).
