Drop-dead-gorgeous April Bowlby stars as Stacy Barrett in Lifetime's hit series "Drop Dead Diva," as the best friend and roommate to a wannabe model whose soul lands in the body of a brilliant, plus-sized attorney, Jane. A struggling model herself, Stacy is the link between her roommate's past and present, and thereby serves as the support Jane needs to navigate her future.

Bowlby's proven a natural after landing a series-regular role on the TV's most watched comedy, "Two and a Half Men," just weeks after her first-ever audition. She starred as Jon Cryer's ditzy girlfriend, Kandi. She later transitioned into the recurring role of Neil Patrick Harris' love interest on "How I Met Your Mother." Additional television appearances include "Psych," "CSI"and "CSI: NY."

On the film side, Bowlby starred alongside Camilla Belle in the romantic comedy "From Prada to Nada," as well as in Broken Lizard's "The Slammin' Salmon," and the family drama "All Roads Lead to Home."

Before pursuing acting, Bowlby studied ballet and French in college. Originally from Northern California, she resides in Los Angeles when not filming "Drop Dead Diva" on location in Atlanta.
