After the Episode with April Bowlby: Season 4, Episodes 11 & 12
It's been an eventful season for Jane's bubbly best friend Stacy, and actress April Bowlby stopped by to share her thoughts and answer some of your questions. Check out the Q&A below:
Linda asked, "Do you think Stacy will ever find love again?"
I think Stacy will certainly find love again. She's really been focused on becoming a better person. And super focused on her career. Now I think she is in the perfect place to find true love.
"Each cast member compliments the other," Andi said, "but behind the scenes, do you get along well?"
We are lucky to have a great cast. I like to think that we are one big dysfunctional family. There are ups and downs, but for the most part everyone is quirky and fun to hang out with.
Christine wants to know if Stacy ever get back into acting.
I think Stacy might be done with acting. I think she's found a very satisfying way to be creative through her pakery. Perhaps she would consider doing a play for the fun of it. But not for the same reasons she wanted an acting career.
Sam asks, "What gift would you bring to Jane and Owen’s wedding?"
Hmmmm. Perhaps a chocolate fountain. It's really something everyone should have. Super fun, and after a long hard day, it would cheer you up!
From Patricia: "Which case has been the most interesting to you so far this season?"
I would have to say Stacy's case with the patent troll. Who doesn't like a Pake-Off in the courtroom?!

This week, April Bowbly tackled your questions from Facebook and Twitter about "Drop Dead Diva" Season 4, Episode 3:
Luisa on Facebook asks: "Does Stacy find a new love interest this season and does Fred come back? You guys were such a great couple. I miss him."
This season Stacy seems to be 100 percent committed to her work at the Pakery. But there is a little love twist towards the end of Season 4 for her. We miss Fred too! It was such a hard episode to play. Fred does return at the end of the season, so keep a look out. We haven't lost him forever!
Speaking of Pakery, Barbara wants to know: "Do you bake in real life?"
I do bake in real life. I love it. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. I make a mean strawberry rhubarb pie. And I love making jams. (Hey April, send some over to the Lifetime office!)
Lisa, among other fans, are buzzing about your new look. Why did you cut your hair?
I cut my hair because I thought it would be a good change for Stacy. She's had the same hair style for 3 years, and I feel like change is always something to be played with and tried out. So Stacy is trying out the new hair. New hair, new career! It's a good year for Stacy.
There seems like there's going to be so many twists and turns. Kristyn from Facebook wants to know what can we expect from Stacy for the rest of the season?
Stacy is more grounded than ever. She's really fulfilled by her new career and I think she has much more focus then previous seasons. She's finds new ways to be supportive of Jane. She still has that quirky sensibility about her, but she's is maturing. And I think that is so important.
