When divas collide! Joan Rivers is set to make her "Diva" debut on a July episode of Season 4!
Joan wil play Jane’s subconscious in two episodes and will first appear in Jane's dream as a therapist. "You’re just like Madonna with her 23-year-old boyfriends. You’re not fooling anyone,” she tells Jane.

"Saving Grace" Star Lorraine Toussaint Signs Up for Season 4!
Season 4 keeps getting sweeter! On the heels of the announcement that "Cougar Town" star Ian Gomez will be guest starring on "Drop Dead Diva," another prime time star is joining the roster. "Saving Grace" actress Lorraine Toussaint will make an appearance on the eighth episode of Season 4, playing Jane's former law professor, Gretchen Daily.
In the episode, Professor Daily invites her former student, Jane, and Grayson to lecture one of her classes at Stanford Law School. The attorneys then begin to help one of the students with a case against a Silicon Valley company. But of course, nothing comes easy when they realize they have to face off against Professor Daily, who was hired to defend the company.
And I know I keep harping, but don't forget to watch the Season 4 premiere of "Drop Dead Diva" on June 3 at 9/8c! Creator and executive producer Josh Berman said in last week's Diva Dish that "a lot of big secrets [will be] divulged!"

Ian Gomez to Guest Star on Season 4!
The Season 4 guest stars keep racking up! Joining the already-announced Kim Kardashian, Serena Williams, Brandy, Jake T. Austin, John Ratzenberger, Patty Duke, Megyn Price, Emily Rutherford and Valerie Harper (Phew!), "Cougar Town" star Ian Gomez is set to make an appearance in the eighth episode of "Drop Dead Diva" this season.
Ian will be playing Warren Patton, a wheelchair-using con man who is suing Harrison & Parker’s newest client for $1 million after being hit in a crosswalk by the defendant’s gourmet food truck. The kicker? Warren argues his own the case and shows his manipulative side in doing so.

Abby Lee Miller Joins Season 4!
What do you get when you cross a court room and a dance floor? The newest Season 4 guest star! That's right "Dance Moms'" Abby Lee Miller is making her acting debut on "Drop Dead Diva"!
In the episode, Jane discovers that Deb's mother, Bobbi, has gone back to work as a dance instructor. She calls Jane when Bobbi is sued by one of the parents, whose child was injured in class. Abby plays herself and will be called to the stand as an expert witness during the trial to confirm if Bobbi was or was not negligent.

Spotted: Serena Williams on Set!
Serena Williams may be a star on the tennis court, but this summer she's going to rock another kind of court... the court room, that is! Serena just filmed her guest role for an upcoming Season 4 episode of "Drop Dead Diva." Serena will be playing Elisa Shayne's lawyer (which means another guest appearance by Brandy!), as Elisa goes to court with Parker over custody of their son. "On set of @dropdeaddiva with @4everBrandy I can't wait to start shooting our scenes! Should be fun OMG so excited!!!" Serena tweeted.
And we have a hint as to who Serena's character will be facing off with in court. "Look who I'm going up against on @DropDeadDiva today, @serenawilliams. Crazy right?!! Glad its law court and not tennis court!" "DDD" star Kate Levering tweeted from set with the photo above.

Brandy Returns -- With Serena Williams as Her Lawyer!
Brandy is BACK for Season 4! The singer and actress will reprise her role as Elisa Shayne, Parker's blast-from-the-past ex who came back into his life at the end of Season 3. Elisa originally came to the firm in Episode 11 for Parker's legal help, but the two reunited in other ways when Parker discovered their child and rediscovered his feelings for his ex. When we last left our Divas, Parker left the firm (and Kim) behind to go after Elisa and their son in Chicago.

That brings us to our next piece of guest star scoop: tennis star Serena Williams will join the cast as Elisa's lawyer. As an ex AND an ex-employee of Harrison Parker, you might be wondering why Elisa would have to go outside the firm for legal help. Well, Divas, Serena will represents Elisa when she and Parker go to court over custody of their son. Yikes!
According to EW the show's creator and executive producer Josh Berman approached Serena Williams to come on "Drop Dead Diva" Season 4 when he found out she was a fan. The writers then wrote the part specifically for her. Welcome, Serena — and the warmest welcome back, Brandy!!

Disney Star Jake T. Austin Heads to ATL for Season 4
You might recognize this cutie from his starring role as one of the bewitching kids on the Disney Channel show "Wizards of Waverly Place," where he's been making magic for the past six years. He's also been the voice of Diego on the uber popular kids cartoon "Go, Diego, Go!" Now, Jake T. Austin is guest-starring on Season 4 of "Drop Dead Diva" — and from the photo he Tweeted from set to the left, it looks like he just might be shedding all that is tween-and-clean after a little run-in with the law?! We can't wait to know more about Jake's role on the show!

Kim Kardashian Announced as Season 4's First Guest Star!
We have our first "Drop Dead Diva" casting announcement for Season 4 — and this guest star news is k-razy exciting! When "Diva" returns this Summer on Lifetime, none other than the gorgeous Kim Kardashian will join the cast for a multiple-episode arc (!!) starting with the season premiere. The Diva extraoidanaire Tweeted the announcement just moments ago, telling all the Twittersphere: "So excited to announce that I'll be guest starring on @DropDeadDiva Season 4 this summer!!" Hey, Kim? Yeah. Us too!!
So let's talk deets: on the Season 3 Finale, Jane caught Grayson and Stacy's misguided kiss. Yikes. Then, at the airport when Fred was all, "I'm going to propose to Stacy," Jane spilled the beans, crushing our angel's dreams of wedded bliss with his blonde boo. When Season 4 begins, we'll meet Kim Kardashian's character Nikki — Fred’s new love interest (omg omg omg omg omg omg omg) who partners with Stacy in a new business venture (insert more omgs here).
"Drop Dead Diva" creator and executive producer Josh Berman reveals a little more about Kim and her character: "I'm ecstatic to welcome Kim to the Diva family. In discussing the role of Nikki with her, I'm blown away by her smarts, sense of humor, and passion. This series is all about reinvention and I'm so excited to see Kim 'reinvented' in the world of 'Drop Dead Diva.'"
Fellow "Diva" newbie Lex Medlin (aka Judge Owen) Tweeted his excitement and plans for reinvention too: "Holy Crap! Kim Kardashian is joining us on DDD for a few episodes. I better lose some weight." Oh, Lex, we love you just the way you are and are sure Kim will too ;) I'm not so sure her character on "Drop Dead Diva" Teri will be as welcoming, but star Margaret Cho Tweeted her support to Kim K, saying: "@kimkardashian super excited to have you on @dropdeaddiva welcome!"
