Jackson Hurst liked it...so he put a ring on it! The actor got engaged to longtime girlfriend Stacy Stas last weekend. "Ladies and Gentlemen...I'm proud to announce... SHE SAID YES! #luckiestguyintheworld," he tweeted." And she echoed his sentiment, tweeting. "I'm going to marry the man of my dreams, my best friend, my soulmate. I love you with all my heart @jaxhurst!"
(Now if Grayson could also get his love life in order...sigh.)
Send Jackson and Stacy your well wishes!
"After the Episode" may have disappeared for a bit, but it's only because I was working on a super-sized edition ... and Jackson Hurst is back! Jackson (aka Grayson) answered your Qs from Facebook and Twitter (and maybe even accepted a few marriage proposals in the process) questions about "Drop Dead Diva" Season 4, Episode 5, 6, 7 and 8!
Karen from Facebook got straight to the point: "Do you and Jane finally get together? "
It's a complicated relationship. They love each other, no doubt. But it's complicated. When he's ready, she's not and vice versa. I'm afraid with her current serious relationship, and Grayson being the respectful man he is, they will not get together at least not this season.
Speaking of Owen, Patti asks, "Is Owen coming back?"
Wish I could answer that one for you, but that'd be a spoiler. Let's just say... watch closely...
That must make Team Owen fans happy, right? FB Fan Julie asked a truly LOL-worthy Q: "How much does it suck wearing a suit in July while filming in Atlanta?"
"Suck" doesn't even scratch the surface. But hey, you can't have lawyers wearing mesh and tanks.
I don't think anyone would mind seeing you in tank, Jackson. Just saying... April asked, "If you could make your own dream sequence for show, what would it be like?"
Cage fighting. Next question.
Denise thinks that Grayson is "uptight." When is Grayson just going to let loose and have some fun?
Yeah, the guy can be a little stiff, but he's been through a lot so can you really blame him? Truth is, he has fun, but in a chill, sit-back-and-observe kind of way. The other male characters are a bit more overt.
Melanie is a big fan of the show's musical numbers. Would you like to do more musical numbers on the show?
Ha, no. I've joked with our creator about the dance numbers I didn't know I was signing up for a musical! I'm good without 'em.
And lastly, Flor, among many other women (and some men!) wants an answer to those four special words: Will you marry me?
Ha, I love it. Apparently, I do have a few weddings lined up it appears, but I also have an amazing lady, so they'll have to get in line :)
As promised, for Season 4's "After the Episode" series, it's not just "Drop Dead Diva" creator Josh Berman who will be answering your Qs from Facebook and Twitter. For this week's installment, I proudly present Grayson himself, Jackson Hurst. So without further ado, here are Jackson's answers to all your questions about "Drop Dead Diva" Season 4, Episode 2:
Joan on Facebook wants to know: "Grayson tends to gravitate towards women with model good looks on the outside with little within the inside. Can Grayson handle what Jane has to offer?"
I beg to differ. Grayson has dated an array of women, some very interesting and with depth. (Bt yes, they were easy on the eyes). And he especially loved Deb, saw something well below the surface that he wanted to experience for the rest of his life. He naturally sees the same in Jane and is falling for her. Granted, she's not your conventional beauty, but Grayson sees well beyond that.
Adriana brings up a good question: "If you were in his position in real life would you handle it the same way Grayson has?"
No, I wouldn't hesitate. When you love someone, when you want something so bad, you gotta go after it. Life is short. (Editor's note: Aww! <333)
Facebooker Rosemary asks, "Do you have any input as to how the Deb, Jane and Grayson is going to play out?"
Grayson will always love Deb. Trust me, the death of someone close only strengthens your love for them. I think Grayson will fall for her as Jane, regardless of his beliefs or lack thereof in the supernatural.
Christina says that Grayson is "sweet, innocent, handsome and a man with a good heart." But she is curious if Grayson has a "dark side"?
Dark is subjective. He's troubled, he's been through the ringer, his upbringing was not ideal, but he powers through. He's become hardened, but still has a heart. The fight, the battle that's what people want to see and actors want to play.
Joann simply asks, "What's been your highlight being on the show?" It's my first time doing TV and honestly, working with different scripts, different directors and different actors it keeps you on your toes, keeps it interesting. It's like playing a 4-month ball tournament, minus the elbows to the head.

Tune in to "Drop Dead Diva" Sunday nights at 9/8c on Lifetime, and visit the Official "Drop Dead Diva" Facebook Twitter pages Mondays after the show to ask questions about "Diva"! Next week, April Bowlby will be answering Qs!
Everyone is buzzing about reality queen Kim Kardashian's guest appearance on the first three episodes of "Drop Dead Diva" Season 4. (I saw the first episode and guysssss, she's legit funny on it!) But no one is talking about it more than the stars of the show! In this week's Diva Dish, Josh Berman and April Bowlby lay it on the line and tells us about what is was like working with Kim K... and their answer may actually surprise you!
April Bowlby: "I had a great experience with Kim. You kind of already have in your mind what it might be, but it was anything but. Like, she came, she was really serious, she had her acting coach, she wanted to do a good job, she showed up on time, she knew her lines. She’s beautiful. Like, I couldn’t stop looking at her face and I would always, like, watch her makeup artist and then be like, 'What is he doing to her. Why does she look so glowy?' She was really great and I think she had a really good time. She’s a lovely businesswoman and it was a real pleasure to work with her."
Josh Berman: "[She was] professional, appreciative and surprising."
Seeee??!! If it's coming from April and Josh, you know it's true!
But I couldn't just leave you with those two quotes for the week. So in the spirit of all things that are divalicious (plus the fact that I'm feeling extra generous this week), I give to you a bonus Diva Dish quote straight from the main Diva herself, Brooke Elliott. Brooke spilled on what lies ahead for her and Greyson.
Brooke says: "That’s so confusing for Jane. Her love life is going to be such a rollercoaster this season. I’m actually really excited to hear what the fans think about it. You know, she’s with Owen. We left her at the finally of Season Three going off to Italy with Owen and that relationship does blossom and move forward. And, you know, and yet there’s Grayson and he kind of keeps popping in every once in a while. Grayson’s feelings actually start to change a little bit. He starts to entice Jane and while Jane doesn’t really see that at first, she obviously always notices Grayson. But, so, again, she's torn. She’s always torn because she really does love Owen, but Grayson’s kind of always in the back of her heart."

Are you going to join the "Drop Dead Diva" Twitter party on Sunday?
We're so used to seeing our favorite "Drop Dead Diva" actors as Jane/Deb/Stacy/Fred/Teri/Grayson/Parker that we get a little territorial about sharing them for new roles. But when we saw the trailer for Jackson Hurst's upcoming project "A Bird of the Air," (out Fall 2011!) we figured we'd let him slide this time. In the new flick, Jackson plays a loner whose life is changed when a parrot flies in to his home. He and Fiona (Rachel Nichols), who has been admiring him from afar good eye, girl! set off to find the parrot's owner.
Let us not fret, "Diva" fans! We still have two more weeks of Jackson as Grayson in new Season 3 episodes of "Drop Dad Diva" maybe we'll even get the super stud for a Twitter Par-tay for one of them ;)! Tune in to see Jackson and his fellow Divas back for a new ep Sunday. Saturday 18 at 9/8c on Lifetime.
When they're not being sassy assistants, justice-seeking heartthrobs or dead models, actors Margaret Cho, Jackson Hurst and Brooke D'Orsay are being, well, themselves! Let's cozy up a seat next to the "Drop Dead Diva" stars to see what they're up to off-camera, shall we?
As much as we all want Grayson and Jane to get together, there's something exciting about watching their relationship (and the chemistry between them!) grow episode-to-episode. In this People TV video, Jackson Hurst opens up about his connection with Brooke Elliot and reveals all — like, whether he's a boxers, briefs or g-string kinda guy.
The fans get to ask the questions on CNN iReport Interview, where Margaret Cho sits down to "talk trash," offer up advice and explain why she loves doing "Diva." Check out her interview below:
Viewers have been dying to see Brooke D'Orsay back on "Drop Dead Diva," so last week's episode, featuring flashbacks of the model, was just the dose of Deb we needed. Smart, sweet, funny and good-lookin’? Looks like life imitates art in the case of Grayson/Jackson! Let’s not let Jane see this interview though — I think she might get a little jealous of Pix 11 reporter Sukanya Krishnan’s flirting!
