Diva Dish: Dining on the Diva Set
The "Drop Dead Diva" fans are always asking me how I can get them on the set of their favorite show. Well, people, how about I bring you behind the scenes and straight to craft services aka the coolest (and most delicious) place to hang out on any television and film set?! Here, one of the crew members sets a delicious spread for everyone working on the show. We'll take a Lara Bar... an orange... okay, okay, and a donut — I at least have to pretend like I'm watching my carbs!
And because I love yall so much, I'll let you in on a fun Season 3 scoop-filled fact: for the episode of "Diva" that this pic was taken during, I've got photos of a scene that features another food spread... but it's a little fancier than this one and more of a party. Want to know what the heck I'm talking about? Guess you'll have to tune in to Season 3, Sundays starting June 19 at 9/8c on Lifetime!

Deets on the Season 2 Drop Dead Diva Marathon!
What "Drop Dead Diva" fans want — "Drop Dead Diva" fans get, and what you all have been asking for is a marathon before the Season 3 premiere. Well, fabulous fans of the best show ever, you're in luck!
Mark your calendars and tune in to the "Drop Dead Diva" Season 2 marathon Saturday, June 18 from 11 am/10c to 5 pm/4c on Lifetime. And of course, don't forget that this is leading up to the Season 3 premiere the next day, Sunday June 19 at 9 pm/8c!
The Season 2 Marathon will include the following episodes:

Diva Dish: April Bowlby Gets Ready for Her Close-up!
Maybe because it’s “Friday, Friday, Friday” or because I’m feeling extra girly in honor of the wedding-and-sundress-and-barbecue-filled long weekend ahead of us, but I wanted to give you a sneak peek at how the stars of “Drop Dead Diva” get all glammed-up in today’s Diva Dish!
Behold: actress April Bowlby gets a last-minute touch-up of her makeup on the set of Season 3. Looks like she’s ready for her close-up (although this naturally lovely lady would probably be anyway)!
I’ll let you all in on a little secret; the last few days I’ve been watching a lot (read: more than usual…) of the show in preparation for a special surprise for our biggest “Drop Dead Diva” fans out there, and I have rediscovered how amazing Stacy is! I know — how could I forget in the first place? But, seeing her grow from a sweetly-shallow ingénue to the confident, take-charge woman at the end of Season 2 really inspired me. We could all learn a thing or two from Stacy and I know we could all use a friend like her! I wonder which of my friends would believe me if I died in a horrific citrus accident and came back to life in someone else’s body…

Diva Dish: the Show's Hottest Couples & the Writers' Hidden Talents
From Jane's future love interests to what it's like working with the cast and crew, we've gotten some serious Season 3 scoop from "Drop Dead Diva" executive producer and creator Josh Berman (pictured at left with star Brooke Elliot!) these last few weeks. Now that we're less than a month away from the big Season 3 premiere (June 19 on Lifetime, duh!), we're going to be serving up even more piping hot Diva Dish for you. So keep your eyes peeled for photos, videos and more — and don't forget to leave your questions for Josh in the comments below!
Twitter and Facebook has been blowing up with questions about all of the "Drop Dead Diva" couples. One of our social media BFFs Cynthia asks Josh some toughies: "Will Fred and Stacy finally be together? Will Jane and Grayson be together or is Grayson still going to marry Vanessa? Does Jane finally tell Grayson she is Deb?"
Josh Dishes: "These are big questions. I can't answer them all here but I can tell you that most of them will be answered in Season 3. The first four episodes build to an amazing climax. Big secret: In Episode 4, one of our characters will go away forever and another's life will be dramatically changed."
Well, as much as I am D.Y.I.N.G. to know more (and more and more and more and more) of the deep, dark details, I'm sure it will be worth the wait! One of our fabulous Tweeters, gomobile79 asks Josh: "Are any of the writers really attorneys? I’m so impressed by how this show uses real law and not just policy issues!"
Josh Dishes: "Thank you! Yes, I am a former attorney and so are three of our other writers and writers' assistants. Expect more in-depth legal stories in Season 3. In fact, one of our new writers was a former NY Prosecutor who wrote on "Law & Order" for 18 years."

Today, we have a little teaser for you all — a photo of the wardrobe rack from on set! If you look closely, you can see all of the actors' names where their clothing for that scene was hung. Pretty cool, huh?

Last week, we brought you the first ever Diva Dish post — with very special guest and "Drop Dead Diva" creator and executive producer Josh Berman! With Diva Dish here on the "Drop Dead Diva" Blog (and, as always "Diva" on Facebook and Twitter!) I'm happy to hand over all of the exciting news and updates on Season 3 leading up to the premiere of Season 3 airing June 19 on Lifetime! Our Facebook friend, Lindsey P. starts us off with a good one! Lindsey asks Josh: "How much fun is it working with your crew?! Brooke, Jackson, Ben, Kate, Margret, April?! They seem like a crazy fun bunch!" Editor's Note: OMG, right? Best coworkers ever or what?
Josh Dishes: "I've been writing television for 14 years and this is the greatest group of actors I've had the pleasure of writing for. They all love the show and get excited about each new script. They're all extremely close in real life and have great respect for each other. It's a joy to be around them and I miss them when we're not in production."
Aww, we all miss them when they're not on our TV screens so I can only imagine what it's like if you actually get to hang out with them! Another Facebook Diva brings us back to Season 1 for a sec... and makes our heart thump for our ultimate "Drop Dead Diva" crush. Heaven-Leigh Angel asks Josh: "Why did you decide to send Fred back after his first date with Stacy, and wipe everyone's memories?"
Josh Dishes: "That's a complicated question. The actor who plays Fred was not originally conceived to be a series regular. However, we loved him so much that we wanted to keep him. He had some other commitments and wasn't able to be with us for the full season. However, we now have him full time and he's not going anywhere anytime soon. In real-life, the actor who plays Fred, Ben Feldman, is one of the most talented comedians I've had the pleasure to work with. His enthusiasm is contagious."

Who Will Patti Stanger Match Up on "Diva"?
Since the number one question on your minds is usually "what will happen in Jane's love life?!?!" — I know I'm not the only one who would die to intervene and play Cupid for some of our favorite "Drop Dead Diva" characters. But in Season 3 (premiering June 19!) it's time for the real deal, Ms. Millionaire Matchmaker herself, Patti Stanger to do the deed as a guest star on Season 3 of the show!
TVGuide's William Keck exclusively revealed today that Patti will appear on a Season 3 episode of "Drop Dead Diva" as a dating-show guru who makes enemies with Harrison & Parker's true dream team: Jane and Teri.
