After the Episode With Josh: Season 3 Premiere Talk
Many of the Facebook commenters felt like Jane is different this season, more cocky and confident — what do you see as the biggest difference between Jane in Seasons 1 & 2 and Jane in Season 3?
Jane is becoming more confident. She looks in the mirror and doesn't see a stranger. She sees a beautiful woman looking back at her. She has a renewed sense of self-worth and that informs the way she goes about her personal and professional life. And, to be honest, it's a lot of fun to write about a woman who feels empowered.
Priscille B. on Facebook thinks "Stacy is BRILLIANT in the role of the intern" and wants to know if she'll be a big part of Season 3 episodes.
It's a big season for Stacy. She and Fred really heat up, but their relationship is not without its bumps. In Episode 2 (airing Sunday, June 26 at 9/8c on Lifetime), Stacy and Fred finally have sex. It's one of the funniest stories in "Diva" history as Jane, reluctantly, becomes Fred's sex teacher.
Doris C. on Facebook asked why Grayson decided to get married in a month/so soon? Why did he make the decision in the hospital?
Grayson's storyline is very organic. Last season, he pulled away from Vanessa but then, during the Season 2 Finale, had an epiphany that life is short, he cares for Vanessa and he wants to get married. Then, this season, he has a near-death experience. With a near-death experience it's not uncommon to want to speed up important events in your life. When you literally see your life flash before your eyes, suddenly, you want to make sure that you do everything you dreamed of doing. Grayson is the kind of guy who wants to get married and have a family. Waking up from the coma, he realizes that he wants to move on with his life and he doesn't want to wait any longer.
Jordan W. on Facebook asks, "why wasn't Deb in any part of the first episode? She is an integral part of the show and we need to see her so we don't forget about her." Will she be in future episodes this season?
Deb is in every episode — her soul is inside of Jane. If you're asking about the amazing actress who plays Deb — she will be back this season... and she's fantastic in a very unique flash back episode!
Sherry says: "Everyone is commenting on the Jane/Grayson thing... when my heart is breaking over Kim and Parker!" Will we see them rekindle this season?
Kim and Parker go on a roller coaster this season. Kim's heart is breaking because Parker deceived her. Kim comes from a broken home and is generally distrustful of men, in romantic situations. The question will be — can she trust Parker again? It's a long road ahead but filled with fun twists and turns.

April Dishes About Fred and Stacy in Season 3
During our Season 3 Premiere Twitter Party last night with “Drop Dead Diva” cast mates Jackson Hurst and Ben Feldman, Ben told us that Stacy’s hilarious one-liners were earning actress April Bowlby huge laughs. No surprise there, our girl(s) April and Stacy are hilarious!
Since Season 1, we’ve watched Stacy grow and adapt to some big changes — you know, like, finding out her best friend had come back to life as someone else. But beyond dealing with Jane’s new life, she’s made major movement in her own. As we saw in last night’s episode, this season will be full of professional and personal developments for our bubbliest blonde BFF.
In an interview with “Entertainment Weekly,” April dished about what’s in store for Stacy and the rest of the Divas, including tumbling, edgy storylines, guest star secrets and more. The star even revealed that she and Fred get it on in a future (hmm, like maybe… next week?!) Season 3 episode. Brandy Joins the Diva Cast
From Liza and Delta, Paula and Rosie, Gregory and Tim, Season 3 of “Drop Dead Diva” had some seriously sparkly shoes to fill. But with an all-star roster including Wanda Sykes, Wendy Williams, Kathy Griffin, Lance Bass and Clay Aiken (just to name a few…) Season 3 is shaping up to be the best one yet!
The newest glorious guest to join “Drop Dead Diva” Season 3 is singer and “Moesha” star Brandy. In an exclusive interview with TVGuide, we find out that the beautiful Brandy will have a recurring role on the last three episodes of the season. Oh, and also that Brandy is a big fan of the show — reason #234 to love her! Here’s hoping we get to see a musical number of “The Boy is Mine.” Maybe with Brandy and Stacy fighting over Fred?!
