Brandy Joins the Diva Cast
From Liza and Delta, Paula and Rosie, Gregory and Tim, Season 3 of “Drop Dead Diva” had some seriously sparkly shoes to fill. But with an all-star roster including Wanda Sykes, Wendy Williams, Kathy Griffin, Lance Bass and Clay Aiken (just to name a few…) Season 3 is shaping up to be the best one yet!
The newest glorious guest to join “Drop Dead Diva” Season 3 is singer and “Moesha” star Brandy. In an exclusive interview with TVGuide, we find out that the beautiful Brandy will have a recurring role on the last three episodes of the season. Oh, and also that Brandy is a big fan of the show — reason #234 to love her! Here’s hoping we get to see a musical number of “The Boy is Mine.” Maybe with Brandy and Stacy fighting over Fred?!

Yesterday on the "Drop Dead Diva" Facebook page (if you haven't already, friend us immediately!) we gave fans a special sneak peek of the new season, with a picture from the Season 3 Premiere episode featuring guest star Leann Rimes and fabulous Jane in the courtroom. Then, we put you all in the writer's chair and asked you to caption the photo.

Who Will Patti Stanger Match Up on "Diva"?
Since the number one question on your minds is usually "what will happen in Jane's love life?!?!" — I know I'm not the only one who would die to intervene and play Cupid for some of our favorite "Drop Dead Diva" characters. But in Season 3 (premiering June 19!) it's time for the real deal, Ms. Millionaire Matchmaker herself, Patti Stanger to do the deed as a guest star on Season 3 of the show!
TVGuide's William Keck exclusively revealed today that Patti will appear on a Season 3 episode of "Drop Dead Diva" as a dating-show guru who makes enemies with Harrison & Parker's true dream team: Jane and Teri.

Kathy Griffin to Guest Star as Kim's Sister
We're gearing up for another day of exciting Season 3 guest star scoop on the "Drop Dead Diva" Blog! The upcoming season is promising to be the funniest yet, with the always hilarious Wendy Williams and Wanda Sykes joining the cast as judges for an episode each. What more could be up creator Josh Berman's sleeves, you ask? On the show, Kate Levering's character Kim is a (super smart, super hot, overall fabulous) force to be reckoned with — so it only makes sense that the woman fit to play her sister on "Drop Dead Diva" is spitfire comedian Kathy Griffin!
Kathy Griffin is joining the cast of "Drop Dead Diva" for an episode in Season 3 as Kim's sis — and someone who does not get along with Jane's assistant Teri, played by Margaret Cho. Comedians Kathy and Margaret go way back and Griffin joked that playing Cho's arch-nemesis for an episode was the "role I was born to play." Margaret Tweeted Wednesday morning: "So excited to have @iamwandasykes and @kathygriffin on ddd this season!" We couldn't agree more!
UPDATE, 05.17.11: Kathy Griffin Tweeted earlier today that she is filming for her role on "Drop Dead Diva"! Actors Jackson Hurst and Kate Levering have also been Tweeting about Kathy's time on set.
