Easy Exercises You Can Do Anywhere
Now you have no excuse for not working out. We enlisted Tamilee Webb, of "Buns of Steel" fame, to help us shake some more motion into our days. Here are eight simple exercises you can do in bed, in the car, at work — you name it. Try them today!
Full-Body Wake-Up
Time: 6:30 am
Location: Bed
Before getting out of bed, counter that fetal position you just spent seven hours in with a big stretch to open up your body and lengthen your muscles. While lying on your back, extend your arms overhead (you might need to scoot down the bed a little bit) as you inhale, and stretch your legs, pointing your toes. Imagine someone pulling on both your legs and arms. Hold this stretch, breathing deeply, for 10 counts. Then, to get some blood flowing, swing all four limbs outward (as if you were about to make a snow angel), stretching them toward the corners of the bed for another 10 counts.
