Hometown: Corpus Christi, TX
Age: I am 27.
Height: 6'0"

Marital status: Single
Can you describe your family? Hmmm, well, we are very interesting. We never skip a beat. Years can go by without us seeing one another, but the love is always there and everyone is their own little character.
Education: Calallen High School, and attended the University of North Texas.
Pets: Love animals, but don’t have any at this moment.
THE REAL ME
How were you described as a kid?
Hyper, but awesome
How are you described by your family/friends now?
Awesome
Why do you think you’re easy to live with?
I’m the best roommate in the world. I don’t bother my roommates. But I prefer living alone.
Hobbies: Guitar, music, writing, painting and any outdoor activities
Favorite websites: Ultimate-Guitar.com and JessiePavelka.com — I had to say that second one!
MySpace or Facebook? Well, they both have gotten a bit crazy, but I would have to say Facebook.
iPhone or BlackBerry? iPhone
Wii or PlayStation? Wii, because it is interactive, so you don’t sit on your butt and twiddle your thumbs.
Fast food or gourmet? Gourmet
Cooking or takeout? Cooking! It can be therapeutic.
Favorite food: I like everything!
Beer or wine? Personally, beer. Yes, I like to have a good time to go with my hard work.
Guiltiest pleasure: I try not to feel guilty, but sometimes I have an occasional Big Mac.
Biggest pet peeve: Bad driving. I live in L.A., so I have a pretty good excuse.
GOING ON THE SHOW
What first got you interested in a career in health and fitness?
My mother, who has inspired me to do so much. She was the one who introduced me to exercise and health.
Were you always in shape?
I have always tried to take care of my body. I have made it a part of my life, and through that I have been fortunate to have some of the things I have.
Were you always into exercise?
Exercising has always been a great outlet for me. No matter what is going on in my life, it has been there. It is a place of sanctuary. I try to do something every day, whether it be hiking/running outside or going to the gym.
What was the excuse you were tired of hearing from the ladies on the show?
The “I can’ts,” as in “I can’t do it.” But all in all, the ladies did great. Going from doing nothing to hitting the ground running in one day is hard on the mind and body, and I thought the ladies handled it well.
What’s the most challenging part of training someone?
Getting the client to be open to the training.
What’s the most rewarding part?
Making everything manageable in their lives so that taking care of themselves becomes an everyday part of their life.
Favorite healthy food choice:
No favorite; I really try to enjoy all foods. I am very open to food.
Favorite way to exercise:
I am constantly changing my exercise program. I’m always keeping myself guessing, and that is my favorite way to exercise. For me, routine can get boring.
What is your worst temptation when you go grocery shopping, or are you on a strict diet?
I love my bad food, but I know it’s a reward. Oreos (America’s Favorite Cookie) are always calling my name in aisle four at Pavilions.
Best workout advice anyone ever gave you:
Be open to new things and styles.
Worst workout advice anyone ever gave you:
That I don’t need to do cardio
Who is the most positive health influence in your life?
My mother!
Who is the most negative health influence in your life?
Some of my buddies are pretty bad health influences, but I have a lot of willpower.
