1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground turkey
1 onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 jalapeño, stemmed, seeded and chopped
2 tablespoons chipotle chile powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 can (14.5 ounces) pureed tomatoes
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
4 whole-wheat hamburger buns, split and toasted
1. Heat the oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add the turkey, onion, green pepper, garlic and jalapeño, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the turkey is cooked through, about 10 minutes. Stir in the chile powder and salt, and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce and cook, stirring occasionally, until thick and saucy, about 10 minutes.
2. Divide the mixture among the buns and serve.
