I took the meaning of the tattoo to also be an indication of her marriage...maybe Denise realizes it was a mistake to marry Frank given his control-freak attitude, but they've been blessed with a son, and there's so many meanings for what the tattoo means to Denise. If Frank jumps all over, then I say to he** with him, he's just mad because its another situation that he didn't control. Why doesn't Frank try listening to his wife for once instead of talking at her?
Roxy and Trevor seem to be on the road to healing, but I don't think their troubles or Trevors pill problem are over yet. I think there is still more to come.
Pamela has chase home and while I'm not a huge fan of Chase's I love how he listens to Pamela and respects her opinions and just plain respects her and her choices. Gotta give him kudos for that. (I know another Army man with the initial FS who could take a lesson from him as well..LOL)
The interaction between Roland and his mother was interesting and I thought it was interesting how Joan was actually pulling a Roland and playing his part as the phsychologist tonight. She got Roland to see some things and made him realize that he got alot of his traits from his mother. It's nice to see that Roland and his Mom began to reconnect last night.
Wasn't to happy with Michael and CJ last night. CJ opened her mouth and inserted foot about Denise and Ghetti. (I wonder what Michael would say to CJ if he found out the CJ told Denise NOT to tell Frank about the kiss...hmmmm). And while Michael has every right to his opinion and I agree that the kiss was a betrayal, Michael doesn't know anything about Denise and Franks relationship or why the kiss happened and that their marriage was in crisis before that. I didn't appreciate that he made it ALL about Frank the soldier and what she was supposed to give him and totally made Denise's viewpoint and feelings insignificant by saying what Frank owes Denise is between her and Frank. That was pathetic. Because what Denise said to Michael before she left was so true, the whole thing is about Denise and Frank, not just Frank, it's between them and them alone. Denise is a good woman who made a mistake. We all make mistakes, and maybe Michael needs to take a step back and realize that because I'm sure he's made them before as well. (I would love to see his reaction and treatment of Roland if he ever found out about Roland having sex with another woman while his wife was in rehab for PTSD...hmmm)
Loved Denise last night. Loved all the girls over at Denise's house chatting and the girls making a To Do List for Denise. I can't believe that Denise has never had a checking account in her own name. The other women were right in encouraging her to open an account in her name. (WOW, what a sheltered life this poor woman has led. She went from on parent to basically another with Frank running the show and calling all the shots). I love love love how the tribe, including Roland are so supportive and such good friends to Denise. I thought it was nice how Denise asked if CJ thought that redecorating the house was selfish and CJ saying, "What are you supposed to do, pace and be miserable, your life goes on too. Frank is where he wants to be even with the danger." WOW...such true words, it's not all about Frank (The Soldier...the people and wives and families at home matter just as much as they do.) And just love how CJ told Denise that she will be there for Denise no matter what happens.
Finally, love the tattoo. Loved the whole meaning of the tatoo..."Her tatoo stands for her whole life in general from her young marriage to Frank, their marriage over the past 20 years, having Jeremy and raising him, giving up nursing, going back to nursing, realizing that she matters too, taking up things she likes and wants to do and although it was a mistake and betrayal which Denise realizes and acknowledges, she did learn something from that experience. The idea that nothing is really a mistake, every choice is a lesson that shapes who we are and who we become." What a beautiful message and so so so true. Life is a journey, not a destination and we all go through life making choices, making mistakes and learning and growing as we go." GO DENISE!!!!
Denise is still a class act...she's figured out that there is a Denise there, and that what she wants and needs count too. Its been all about what Frank wants and what Frank needs for 20 years, with him giving very little back to his wife, well except when he LETS her do things LOL!
A kiss is not cheating...Jam you're probably one who thinks what Roland did is okay, but continue to bash Denise for her mistake. Pamela had a lesbian kiss, I guess she's a cheater too by your definition....Denise owned up to it, she's apologized, but Frank will not forgive. Fine, when Frank meets someone in Iraq I hope you are going to be as hard on him. Oh but right, it will be excused because Frank is a man LOL!
I'm glad Denise has found her voice....too bad Frank won't listen to her, instead talks AT her and OVER her like she's some kind of idiot that only he can make decisions for.
I think the word to describe both Jennifer and her husband is social climber. What did they call the girls like her in "Mean Girls"? Plastics? They'd better watch out for her, she'd give Lenore Baker a run for her money!
I'm hooked, i dont know what I'm going to do when the season is over
where u live.
Frank was right to be so cold when he left. Denise can't have it both ways. I think him being away makes it not real for her. If he was on base and ignoring her and maybe started seeing other women she would feel very differently. I agree her redecorating indicates she is planning on sticking around, but will Frank want her?
As for Evan's wife, a little over the top but I guess they need that. Looks like next week will be interesting with Emmalynn's new beau (gee who didn't see that coming)
