Terry Serpico is the youngest of three children born into an army colonel’s family. The family traveled throughout the United States and Europe while his father served for 26 years in the military. Although they moved quite frequently, Serpico was fortunate to stay in one place during his high school years; he discovered his love for acting after auditioning for a school play, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” He went on to major in theater at Boston University.
Serpico’s big break came in 1996 when he landed a role in the feature film “Donnie Brasco.” His additional feature film credits include “Michael Clayton” opposite George Clooney, “The Departed,” “Righteous Kill,” starring Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro, “Ladder 49,” “The Interpreter,” “Hannibal” and “Conspiracy Theory.”
On television, Serpico has a recurring role on the FX series “Rescue Me.” A few of his other television credits include guest-starring roles on “CSI: Miami,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Third Watch” and “Oz.”
Serpico currently resides in South Carolina with his wife and two children.
Lieutenant Colonel Frank Sherwood is a soldier’s soldier. In his eyes, there is one way to live, and it's the Army way. Rising up the ranks from enlisted man to Lieutenant Colonel, Frank is a military paragon, but his camouflage-tinted worldview takes its toll on his family. He loves his wife, Denise, and son, Jeremy, but at times can forget they are not part of his platoon.
This officer has definitely faced some uphill battles with his family. He patched things up with Denise, who had some extramarital encounters while Frank was deployed, and had to help Jeremy adjust to life back at Fort Marshall.
