CHARACTER: Claudia Joy Holden

Sophisticated, strong and smart, Claudia Joy is the heart of the military goings-on at Fort Marshall. A mother to recent high school graduate Emmalin and wife to Major General Michael Holden, Claudia Joy has returned to law school to finish earning her degree.

CATHERINE BELL

CHARACTER: Denise Sherwood

Denise Sherwood didn't know much outside of Army life — until she started working as a nurse, almost lost her marriage and sent her son Jeremy off to war. While her husband Lieutenant Colonel Frank Sherwood is in Afghanistan, Denise is experiencing being a mother a second time around with the birth of her daughter Molly.

CATHERINE BELL

Catherine Bell was born in London and moved to Los Angeles with her family at the young age of three. While studying biomedical engineering at UCLA, Bell ventured into modeling, which soon led to immediate recognition in both the United States and overseas. More on Catherine Bell

SALLY PRESSMAN

CHARACTER: Roxy LeBlanc

Alabama native Roxy is the sassy owner of local hangout Hump Bar, a young mom of two boys and wife to Sergeant Trevor LeBlanc. Although she was the most recent addition to Fort Marshall, Roxy is often the glue that keeps the Army wives together.

SALLY PRESSMAN

Sally Pressman was born and raised in New York City, where she was classically trained in ballet and became a member of the Manhattan Ballet Company. She graduated cum laude with a B.A. in theater studies from Yale University. More on Sally Pressman

BRIGID BRANNAGH

CHARACTER: Pamela Moran

The first thing you notice about Pamela Moran is her soft beauty, giving little clue to her tough, rebellious personality. In the last year, Pamela rejoined the workforce as a cop and divorced from husband and Delta Force member Chase Moran — who is still in love with her.

BRIGID BRANNAGH

Brigid Brannagh is one of nine children and was born and raised in San Francisco. She has been acting for more than 18 years. Brannagh’s first role was on the Fox comedy series “True Colors.” More on Brigid Brannagh

WENDY DAVIS

CHARACTER: Lt. Colonel Joan Burton

Raised on the tough streets of Chicago's South Side, Joan Burton overcame a troubled youth by becoming a Citadel cadet. Through grit and determination, Joan become Fort Marshall's first African American female lieutenant colonel — commanding more than 400 men. She has a young daughter, Sarah Elizabeth with husband, Dr. Roland Burton.

WENDY DAVIS

Wendy Davis caught the acting bug in college while attending Howard University, where she earned a B.A. in theater. Upon graduation, Davis landed guest-starring roles on many television series, but her first big break came when she was cast as a series regular on the ABC drama series “High Incident.” More on Wendy Davis

BRIAN MCNAMARA

CHARACTER: Major General Michael Holden

One of Fort Marshall's most respected officers, Major General Michael Holden is married to Claudia Joy and together they have a teenage daughter, Emmalin.

Brian McNamara got his break in Hollywood with a part in the hit movie “Short Circuit,” and has since appeared in numerous roles in both film and television. More on Brian McNamara

STERLING K. BROWN

CHARACTER: Roland Burton

A brilliant psychiatrist and loving husband, Roland chose to forgo a lucrative private practice to spend his life with Lieutenant Colonel Joan Burton, a dedicated military woman, and help play full-time dad to daughter Sarah Elizabeth.

STERLING K. BROWN

Sterling K. Brown, a native of St. Louis, is a graduate of New York’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where he earned a master’s of fine arts. One of his first productions upon graduation was “The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui,” starring Al Pacino. Brown has starred in numerous theater productions in his career, most recently in “Macbeth” in Central Park opposite Liev Schreiber. More on Sterling K. Brown

DREW FULLER

CHARACTER: Sergeant Trevor LeBlanc

Growing up in foster homes, PFC (now Sergeant) Trevor LeBlanc wished for a family, and a place to belong. He found it in the U.S. Army. It only got better when he fell in love at first sight with bartender Roxy Brooks and became a father to her two songs, T.J. and Finn.

DREW FULLER

Born in Los Angeles, Drew Fuller is fast becoming Hollywood’s hot new up-and-comer.

Before “Army Wives,” Fuller was best known as the character Chris on the hit WB show “Charmed.” He had a recurring role on the WB series “Black Sash,” and has guest-starred on “Huff,” “The O.C.” and “Partners.” He also starred in the made-for-television movie “The Circuit.” More on Drew Fuller

CHARACTER: Lt. Colonel Frank Sherwood

Colonel Frank Sherwood is a soldier's soldier. In his eyes, there is one way to live, and it's the Army way.

TERRY SERPICO

Terry Serpico is the youngest of three children born into an army colonel’s family. The family traveled throughout the United States and Europe while his father served for 26 years in the military. Although they moved quite frequently, Serpico was fortunate to stay in one place during his high school years; he discovered his love for acting after auditioning for a school play, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” He went on to major in theater at Boston University. JEREMY DAVIDSON

CHARACTER: Master Sergeant Chase Moran

Secrets were a part of life for Chase Moran as a member of the elite Delta Force, but now he's willing to give it all up to rebuild his life with his ex-wife Pamela.

Jeremy Davidson has played a soldier a few times in his life, including a vet-turned-bank-robber in the miniseries “The Kill Point” opposite John Leguizamo and Donnie Wahlberg. Other TV roles for Davidson include “Roswell,” “Boston Legal,” “Cold Case,” “Law & Order” and “Without a Trace.” The actor also starred with Nicolas Cage and Mark Ruffalo in the feature film “Windtalkers,” and alongside Linda Hamilton and in “Skeletons in the Closet.” More on Jeremy Davidson
