"Project Runway" Meets "Army Wives": A Real Military Wife Gets a "Runway" Winner Makeover

Posted By CaitlinBergmann 11:29pm GMT

As reported in the NorthWest Cable News, Mary Anne Merkely, a military nurse stationed at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Washington, won a local contest, receiving a two-hour styling consultation with "Project Runway" Season 7 winner, Seth Aaron Henderson. Mary Anne's husband, also serving in the military, just returned home from Afghanistan and was able to see her try on all of her new-Seth Aaron approved looks. How fun!

Congratulations to Mary Anne. We hope this was a well-deserved treat for all of her service and dedication.
