Since my upcoming interview with Fort Marshall hottie Trevor LeBlanc, played by Drew Fuller, is a mere one day away, I thought a bit of research was necessary to conduct a proper interview.
To my surprise, I knew Drew Fuller before I knew Drew Fuller. Why? Cause he was the king of music-video love interests before he was suited up in his soldier uniform.
No, you are not hallucinating. That is a photo of Drew cuddling up to none other than Lindsay Lohan in her video for “Over.” He plays Lindsay’s boyfriend in the video, loosely based on the movie "American Beauty." (Drew plays the [equally hot] Wes Bentley’s character.)
Thanks to DrewFullerfan.com for the Drew Fuller history lesson I can watch over and over again!
So, now’s your big chance. If you have a burning question you’ve always wanted to ask Drew Fuller, have at it! Post your comments here on the blog, and I’ll be sure to get the answer for you from the man himself!
Tune into TV Guide Channel on Sunday, June 15th at 7:00pm et/pt when “Army Wives” will be the featured show on “inFANity. “inFANity” is an hour-long special that takes TV fans on set and behind-the-scenes to reveal secrets about their favorite characters and shows.
"Army Wives" author and real-life Army wife Tanya Biank will graciously be guest blogging every now and again, giving us the inner circle scoop straight from the set of "Army Wives." I'm especially excited to announce her debut post here on the blog today!
Our new "Army Wives" community tool has finally launched here on myLifetime.com, and you're the one of the first to check it out!
Enlist now and sound off on your favorite "Army Wives" moments! The more active you are, the higher in the ranks you'll climb. Start as a Private and work your way up to General with every post! My first post is about my (not-so-secret) love of Trevor LeBlanc. (Do you blame me?)
I need to get to posting some shout-outs myself so I can make General ASAP! ...And obsess some more over Drew Fuller who, hint-hint, may be my next "Army Wives" celebrity interview. If you have any questions for Drew, let me know so I can get the official scoop from the hottest guy on post!
We had a post yesterday from Lifetime member Scrappygypsy. She wanted to know if Emmalin, Claudia Joy and Michael's youngest, was being played by a different actress this season.
I know that you many of you who posted on the blog here were among those who watched. (If you didn’t, click here to watch the entire "Army Wives" episode online.) I’m so glad you fans tuned in and then shared your comments with me. Some of your remarks made me laugh, and some of the ones from you real military wives out there really moved me. I wanted to highlight a few of my favorites.
If you've just finished watching the "Army Wives" Season 2 premiere (watch part one of the episode below), then your eyes are probably a little bit blurry while reading this because you've just been sobbing over the aftermath of the Hump Bar explosion. (I cried too while watching the show, if it makes you feel better.) Poor Claudia Joy and Michael, losing their eldest daughter. The final scene of the episode was simply heartbreaking and so memorable.
Here are a few of my other top show moments: Roxy watching deployed husband Trevor's emotional video, Pamela confessing her guilt over the now-deceased resident gossip Marilyn, the Joan–Roland reconnection in the hospital… Am I missing any? Tell me what you liked best!
Then after you dish on what happened in this week's show, I've got three suggestions for you:
1) Watch the premiere again! (It's just as good a second time.) See the first video installment above and then click here to watch the rest of the full episode of the Season 2 premiere of “Army Wives” online.
2) Click here to download one of the songs featured in the “Army Wives” premiere: “Nowhere to Now-here” by the Kin. It's free!
3) Stop back tomorrow for some late-breaking news about the “Army Wives” show and site.
See ya soon!
Can you believe we've had to wait about nine and a half months for the return of “Army Wives”? But now we're now down to a mere six hours. (Translation: Only 21,600 seconds to go!) We’ll finally learn who makes it out of the Hump Bar okay and who is bidding us a final farewell. Catherine Bell let loose in a few interviews that someone unexpected who we've come to know and love is definitely going to be a victim of the soldier with explosives strapped to his chest. Now is the time to guess who you think it is!
Let's move on to happier subjects ... what are you looking most forward to this season? For me, it's more of Roxy's great comments. My personal favorite is, "Well, if I didn't just serve up toe jam on an idiot cracker." That was Roxy's response after accidentally saluting Trevor's superior, Frank Sherwood. Speaking of Frank, if he makes it out alive, I wonder how he'll feel about Denise flirting around with a hot doctor. Yes, it's true, at least according to Catherine Bell’s interview on tvguide.com. (We love that she shares with the public!) We'll give you the dish about the handsome actor who plays this doctor in an upcoming post. But you can watch the clip below.
Anyway, there isn’t much time, so serve up your predictions now. While you're at it, you’ll want to get the tissues ready, because you might need them while watching the premiere. And come back right after the premiere ends to talk about it and to see my latest post.
See ya soon!
Presidential nominees Senators Barack Obama and John McCain taped on-air and online spots, honoring the service and sacrifice of America’s military families in support of the premiere of “Army Wives” on Sunday, June 8th.
Of course, I’m here with the insider scoop for you on how this exclusive video came to be: Lifetime approached the McCain, Obama, and Clinton campaigns to see if they’d like to be part of our effort to salute military families and “Army Wives”.
John McCain taped his spot at his headquarters in Virginia (located just outside of Washington, DC) on May 15th, and Barack Obama was filmed in Denver, CO on a campaign stop on May 27th. Hillary Clinton’s campaign was also very interested in contributing, but scheduling conflicts ultimately prevented her from participating by the deadline. They read the scripts a few times over for different shots and took about 15 minutes to tape each spot.
I’m told both Senators were very gracious with their time and talents, and several of the candidates' staffers admitted to being big fans of the show. (Who isn’t!)
“Entertainment Tonight” (CBS) and “The Situation Room” (CNN) previewed clips from their special video messages, which are available to watch online here at myLifetime.com, or during the "Army Wives" premiere, Sunday, June 8 at 10 pm et/pt.
