What else could be in store for our friends at Fort Marshall? Looks like Denise just can't catch a break, and the rumor mill at the hospital isn't helping!
Catch a glimpse of next week's brand-new episode:
The rumor mill is in full effect with Denise's new motorcycle companion, Dr. Chris "Getti" Ferlinghetti, played by "General Hospital" hottie Seamus Dever. After Frank seemed to be none too pleased with his wife's admission for her newfound love of bikes, Getti, like "Mac" (the cute patient who give her his bike), seems to encourage Denise to let loose and not be so...well, Denise!
Maybe this is a positive thing for Denise that's allowing her to come out of her shell and be her own person, or perhaps this will lead her towards getting the acceptance she needs from Frank from someone else?
What do you make of this relationship with Denise and Getti? Will she be tempted to cheat? Would you have if you were in her position? Have at it!
Woah! Did you catch tonight's episode of "Army Wives"? This may just be my favorite episode so far!
First, let's talk about Denise's cute new patient, Corp. Riley "Mac" McCadden, a 20-something solider recently back from Iraq after an accident making him a double amputee.
Who knew that our innocent little Denise Sherwood used to ride dirt bikes and was willing to put her job on the line to sneak a patient out of the hospital just to let them have a swig of beer? Looks like we may not be seeing too much more of "Mac" for awhile, but looks like we'll see Denise riding his motorcycle around post!
Then, how about Claudia Joy's "date" with Finn? It was both awkward and hysterical at the same time, but thank goodness she's finally managed to make peace with Amanda's death. Hopefully life in the Holden household will be happier from here on in.
Has Betty already worn out her welcome with Roxy? What's going on with Joan's pregnancy? Can Claudia Joy really keep it together? Tune in next week to see what's in store for our favorite characters of Fort Marshall...and if I can get more info from those in the know, I'll share it right here on the blog!
Don't forget to come back to myLifetime.com on Monday for tonight's full streaming episode and more of our favorite character clips! Monday is the last day to enter our "Army Wives" Season 1 DVD giveaway, so hurry up and get those posts in before it's too late!
Did you spot hot, tattooed mystery man patient with Denise in the sneak peek of this Sunday’s episode?
Can you believe we've had to wait about nine and a half months for the return of “Army Wives”? But now we're now down to a mere six hours. (Translation: Only 21,600 seconds to go!) We’ll finally learn who makes it out of the Hump Bar okay and who is bidding us a final farewell. Catherine Bell let loose in a few interviews that someone unexpected who we've come to know and love is definitely going to be a victim of the soldier with explosives strapped to his chest. Now is the time to guess who you think it is!
Let's move on to happier subjects ... what are you looking most forward to this season? For me, it's more of Roxy's great comments. My personal favorite is, "Well, if I didn't just serve up toe jam on an idiot cracker." That was Roxy's response after accidentally saluting Trevor's superior, Frank Sherwood. Speaking of Frank, if he makes it out alive, I wonder how he'll feel about Denise flirting around with a hot doctor. Yes, it's true, at least according to Catherine Bell’s interview on tvguide.com. (We love that she shares with the public!) We'll give you the dish about the handsome actor who plays this doctor in an upcoming post. But you can watch the clip below.
Anyway, there isn’t much time, so serve up your predictions now. While you're at it, you’ll want to get the tissues ready, because you might need them while watching the premiere. And come back right after the premiere ends to talk about it and to see my latest post.
See ya soon!
I don't know about you, but I know I’m itching to find out what the heck happened at the Hump Bar in the Season 1 finale.
If you're a die-hard Denise Sherwood fan, look no further than your television set Monday morning on ABC!
And welcome to the inaugural post of the “Army Wives” blog, a salute to all things "Army Wives”! It’s the closest you can get to Fort Marshall without enlisting!
This is the only place where you’ll find the official word on your favorite military wives (and their families), so bookmark it and visit frequently and shamelessly — especially if you want to be first to get the buzz on show happenings. Here you can read exclusive interviews with some of the cast and crew of the TV show "Army Wives" (Sally Pressman, a.k.a. Roxy LeBlanc, is the first interview!). You’ll also get behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, show gossip and anything else they’ll let me reveal.
So here’s your first bit of insider news:
Season 2 of “Army Wives” begins Sunday, June 8, and will have 19 episodes in total. (If you recall, Season 1 had 13 episodes, so mathematics alone tells us that this year will be even better!) The day after each episode airs, myLifetime.com will feature the full streaming episode online so you can watch it all over again — or for the first time, if you missed it.
That’s not the only news: There’s a Season 1 recap so you can relive the entire season in just nine minutes, starting Sunday June 1. My advice: Begin with the recap and then move on to watching entire “Army Wives” episodes of Season 1 online, which will also be on the site starting June 1. I’ve been told that full episodes of Season 1 are only on myLifetime.com for two weeks, so as Pamela Moran would say: Have at it!
As the season progresses, I want to make sure you’re getting what you want on the blog, so tell me: What are you looking for? What do you want the scoop on? Which star are you dying to ask a question? Let me know and I’ll work on delivering it to you. So, don’t be shy ... leave a comment!
