Tonight's episode was very emotional and shocking. Trevor's drug addiction has him hitting rock bottom, Joan's baby girl is delivered prematurely, Denise and Frank solidify their separation as their son goes off to war, Pamela's stalker gets aggressive and Claudia Joy fights back unwanted advances ... with a cliffhanger ending.
Please share your views on what you thought about what happened with others here on the blog.
If you missed tonight's "Army Wives," watch the full streaming episode right now.
How about tonight's return of all-new episodes of "Army Wives"? Pamela's (scary) secret admirer, "Tim," crosses the line and gives Pamela quite a scare. Even a tough-talking former cop can be shaken by a traumatic situation like this!
Who is this mystery man? Is it a fan who crossed the line, Chase just playing around (in a totally un-funny way!), or could it be that this is all in Pamela's head?
Speaking of theories, what do you think will come of Denise and Frank's strained marriage? It seems like Denise is truly putting in all the effort lately, and Frank is being way too dismissive about her point of view. Can they work it out or will they go their separate ways and eventually have to break the hard truth to their son Jeremy? Post your thoughts here on the blog.
Watch this sneak peek of Episode 13 and more of Pamela's stalker-at-large:
Whew! All-new episodes of "Army Wives" return on Sunday, September 7 at 10 pm/et pt. For those of you that have been in Fort Marshall withdrawal just like me, here's a dose of what's to come this Sunday.
This week, the Wives plan for Joan’s baby shower and Pamela’s secret admirer gets a bit too close for comfort.
Catch a glimpse of this episode now:
Is Pamela really in danger or is this just a big fuss over nothing? And what's up with Denise? Is her marriage beyond help? And, OK, is it just me, or can you see Joan really getting into all the girly moments of a baby shower or what? Hopefully all my burning questions will be answered in Episode 12, airing this Sunday. Don't miss it!
In part one of my interview with "Army Wives" star Brigid Brannagh, the fiery redhead tackles some of your very own fan questions you posted here on the blog!
Read on for the first installment of the exclusive interview with your favorite no-nonsense Army wife, Pamela Moran, a.k.a. Brigid Brannagh!
For more Brigid Brannagh, watch a clip of the "Army Wives" actress reflect about her experience during her recent trip to Walter Reed Army Medical Center this summer:
As promised, I have video to share from the "Army Wives" event at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. We met many amazing real military husbands and wives at that special screening, but two who really stuck out in my mind were a young married couple, The Parduns.
Jordan and Jason Pardun could pass as the real life Roxy and Trevor LeBlanc! Watch these two share their personal Army story:
It keeps getting better and better each week!
Pamela's radio show gets abruptly shut down after Joan's replacement oversteps his bounds, causing our fiery redhead to have at it with "Have At It" and learn more about a radio job in Atlanta for a change of pace...and a big fat paycheck!
When Michael Holden orders an apology and for Pamela to be fully reinstated to her show, she realizes that chatting about the Army life she leads is the best possible fit she'll ever find.
What did you think of this week's episode? Should Pamela have taken the radio job in Atlanta anyway? Was she better off staying on post with "Have At It?"
Check back later this week for part one of my exclusive interview with Mrs. Pamela Moran herself, actress Brigid Brannagh! She'll be answering your fan questions and much, much more!
Don't forget to post in our "Army Wives" Community about tonight's exciting episode.
If Brigid Brannagh is your favorite star on "Army Wives," you're in luck! Brigid, a.k.a. Pamela Moran, is taking your fan questions during my exclusive interview tomorrow.
Check back next week to see if she selected yours from the "Army Wives" blog! ...Have at it!
As promised, here’s some pictures from Tuesday night’s event at Walter Reed in Washington, D.C. where military solders at the hospital and their friends and family were treated to an advanced screening of episode five of "Army Wives" as well as a chance to meet some of the cast:
And here's some moments you won’t read about anywhere else:
1. Brigid and Sally’s fierce stilettos that they wore all night long...without complaining!
2. Sally sitting on Brigid’s lap to purposely "blooper" her interview. During the interview Brigid was talking about how her character was going to have a “sassy” storyline coming up real soon!
3. A man whose chair broke at an awkward moment during a hilarious sexy scene of Episode 5.
4. How I found Brigid’s missing sweater underneath a pile of stuff and was this close to offering it up for grabs on the blog. (Sorry, guys. I tried!)
FYI: Brigid later fessed up to leaving little black sweaters everywhere she goes.
I had an advanced preview of this Sunday’s all new episode of “Army Wives” at the event, and I must tell you, this was my favorite episode yet. Dare I say it, the best episode of the show to date!
It made me laugh, it made me think, it made me cry. And, I learned from Sally Pressman that it was directed by Joanna Kerns, of “Growing Pains” fame. (She also directed the episode "Dirty Laundry" in Season 1.)
I can’t give too much away without ruining some great moments, but here’s a sneak peek:
Tune in Sunday at 10 pm et/pt to watch the entire brand new episode! Come back to the blog after the show for my weekly recap! (And soon I’ll have video from this event too.)
I’ve just returned from an incredible “Army Wives” event in Washington, D.C. at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Stars Brigid Brannagh (Pamela Moran) and Sally Pressman (Roxy LeBlanc)joined executive producer Deborah Spera, Army Wives author Tanya Biank, and Lee Woodruff, author of In an Instant and wife of ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff who was injured while in Iraq, previewed "The Hero Returns" this Sunday’s episode, “The Hero Returns,” honoring our country’s bravest men and women in the armed forces. General and Mrs. George W. Casey, Chief of Staff of the Army, also made an appearance at this special event.
It was so amazing to see real-life Army wives and their husbands watching this episode in the very same room with the actors who portray the events that happen every day in their very own lives. The parallels between fiction and reality were everywhere. In fact, I met the “real-life Roxy and Trevor,” Jason and Jordan Pardun—a vibrant young couple who met, became engaged on Valentine’s Day, married on February 20th, and then Jason was deployed for a year overseas. Watching the two of them show so much genuine affection for “Army Wives,” the cast, and one another in true LeBlanc fashion made the experience so memorable for me.
Brigid Brannagh was moved to tears just trying to find the words to explain the impact the day had on her, not just at that moment, but on her life. Lines wrapped around the room for soldiers and their wives (and husbands) to meet the characters they’ve grown so fond of over these two seasons of “Army Wives.” What a day!
On a not-so-serious note, I do have some great gossip and photos to share with you from the event!
Check back tomorrow for some behind-the-scenes pictures, and the story of how I saved Brigid from going home sweaterless!
Tonight, Monday, June 16, 2008 at 8:00 pm et/pt, you can hear Brigid Brannagh (AKA Pamela Moran) on the radio! She’ll be braving a tour of duty on army wife Tara Crooks' internet radio show ArmyWifeTalkRadio.com.
