On the heels of the announcement that Burgess Jenkins and Joshua Henry are the newest husbands on the "Army Wives" block, it was just revealed that actor/singer Jesse McCartney is joining the cast.

The "Leavin'" singer will play Private Tim Truman, an eager and enthusiastic soldier determined to prove himself on his first deployment for an 11-episode arc.

Season 7 of "Army Wives" premieres this March on Lifetime.
