I know that you many of you who posted on the blog here were among those who watched. (If you didn’t, click here to watch the entire "Army Wives" episode online.) I’m so glad you fans tuned in and then shared your comments with me. Some of your remarks made me laugh, and some of the ones from you real military wives out there really moved me. I wanted to highlight a few of my favorites.

This is a great show, not always accurate with uniforms, especially berets, but finally something that shows what it is like to be the spouse of someone who serves in the military. It is not an easy life having our spouses getting up all hours of the night for simple things like inspections, etc., or leaving for short periods of time like field training. Thank you Lifetime for this wonderful show.

What a show! I’m a Navy wife, and my hubby is in his second deployment. He left three weeks ago, and I managed to keep my posture until today. This show, even though it is about Army wives, represents everything we as military spouses go through. I was there with Roxy begging for news and crying when Trevor left her that beautiful video, as my hubby did to me. I couldn’t believe Amanda died. That was unfair but so great at the same time ... Thanks, Lifetime, for recognizing what we as military spouses go through. Yes, our men honor this country and serve but so do we!

Strange that a TV show can make you stay up and mourn for a fictional character and realize how important the people are in your life. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
