Gina never took dance as a child while growing up. Instead, she played volleyball and softball. She enrolled Zack, 13, in dance after he asked to take a class with a friend, and as she says, "the rest is history." Her husband is also very involved with their kids' dance and he hasn't missed a convention or competition. Gina's aspirations for Zack are that he keep following his passions and do what inspires him always! Her advice to him when competing on "Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition" is to treat it like any other competition, but to realize that the judging will be much more intense. If they win the $100,000 prize, Gina says they will use it to pay for more dance! Gina and Zack currently live in Phoenix, Arizona.

What's your favorite style of dance to watch?
I love watching most anything with my kids in it! I especially like Contemporary with funky and edgy music.

What's your occupation?
I am a hairstylist.

What are your hobbies and interests besides dance?
Are there other things to do aside from dance? I love to shop! I love to be at home with my kids, in my bed snuggled with our blankets.

Would you call yourself a "Dance Mom," "stage mom" or "mom-manager"?
I don’t call myself a “dance mom,” I think I am looked at as “Zack’s mom” everywhere I go.

Yes!

An Ultrasound Tech.
