On one of Gabrielle's (Eva Longoria) prison visits to see Carlos (Ricardo Chavira) she creates a terrible riot, which lands Carlos in hot water. Gabrielle meets an interesting attorney whom she is attracted to. Also, Susan (Teri Hatcher) puts her feelings aside and joins Mike (James Denton) in searching for his son Zach (Cody Kasch). Although, once alone Susan finds Zach and knows his intentions to get back together with Julie (Andrea Bowen) she takes matters into her own hands. Lynette (Felicity Huffman) is surprised to find out that her son Parker (Zane Huett) has an imaginary friend. Lastly, George (Roger Bart) and Andrew (Shawn Pyfrom) both vie for Bree's (Marcia Cross) attention as they both compete in make each other look bad in front of her, until one fight goes a little too far.

Lynette (Felicity Huffman) is forced to go out to bars night after night with her man-hungry boss, Nina (guest start Joely Fisher). Also, Bree (Marcia Cross) re-buries Rex (Steven Culp) amid police suspicions. Bree also finds out about Rex's feelings about her prior to his death. Lastly, Gabrielle (Eva Longoria) hires hotshot lawyer David Bradley (Adrian Pasdar) to defend Carlos (Ricardo Chavira) in court but Carlos rejects him after he witnesses an attraction between David and Gabrielle.

At a tenants' association meeting, Will (Eric McCormack) tells his new neighbor, Grace (Debra Messing), that she absolutely cannot have a fireplace in her apartment. This leads her to believe that she would make a much better association president than Will, and she decides to run. The campaign is fierce with Grace baking lemon squares and Will handing out flashlights as vote bribes. The final vote ends in a tie. It seems Mr. Munitz (Ralph Drischell), the deciding vote, is in the hospital. Will and Grace rush to St. Luke's where Mr. Munitz chooses Grace (as president and nurse).
Meanwhile, Karen (Megan Mullally) accidentally lets Jack's (Sean Hayes) parrot escape through the window. She's guilt stricken and Jack plays up his grief, even though Guapo secretly returned only minutes later. After a couple of shopping sprees, Jack finally admits to Karen that he's been milking her.

Grace (Debra Messing) sees a picture of herself in the newspaper. Due to the camera angle and a generous shadow, her boobs look huge. An old boyfriend (Scott Patterson) (who just happens to have seen the photo) calls Grace and invites her to a showing of his watercolors at the local art gallery. Grace decides that she has to have those big boobs when she meets him. So Karen (Megan Mullally) introduces Grace to the "Liqui-Bra," the water-filled bra. At the showing, Grace's new fluid boobies do the job. That is until Karen and Grace hug and Karen's broach punctures a hole in the bra. Grace finds out that her old flame was just interested in the boobs anyway as she lets fly on the beautiful watercolors.
Jack (Sean Hayes) is angered when he learns that Will (Eric McCormack) had a fling with his old boyfriend, Walter (Anthony De Santis). Will arranges to have Walter show up at the art showing just to show Jack that he's sorry. It turns out that Walter wasn't actually the guy Jack thought he was.

While on the air, Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) mentions his recent purchase of a painting by renowned local artist Martha Paxton (Rachel Rosenthal). When Paxton calls to thank him, Frasier seizes the opportunity to invite her to a cocktail party. Unfortunately, when Paxton comes to Frasier's condo and asks to see her painting, she declares the she did not paint it.
Feeling "duped", Frasier wants to return the fraudulent painting, but the gallery owner adheres to the policy that all sales are final. After considering many forms of retaliation, Frasier feels justice will be served by throwing a brick through the gallery's window.
Niles (David Hyde Pierce) rushes to the scene to stop Frasier's vandalism. After reminiscing about a humiliating experience that Niles suffered in junior high, in which he fought the temptation to seek revenge, Frasier realizes that he must deal with his anger in an adult manner. At this point Niles, his anger rekindled, takes the brick and smashes the window.
