At age nine, Erick, a natural athlete, decided to trade in sports for dance after seeing a production of “The Nutcracker.” At first his Navy father was resistant to the idea, but once he saw his son perform, it was evident that dancing was where Erick excelled most. Over the years, Erick has trained in jazz, hip-hop, modern, tap and ballet. Erick’s parents sacrificed a lot to meet the demands of his dance training and competitions, but they have also been his biggest supporters — especially his mom, Carol. It’s been difficult for this military wife since her son moved far away to Los Angeles, so this competition will be a great way for them to reunite.

Congrats on making this far. It was a tough decision on who to vote for, this was the first time I had to vote. I couldn't let my favorite team by far possibly get voted out. I think you guys are amazing, and the anticipation is killing me. I want to see you guys make it to the last showdown. I know you can do it.
EROCK- You a wonderful dancer & choreographer. You have really pushed your mom to show you what she's got. You can just see the sparkle in her eyes when she steps on stage with you. Oh and by the way, you are such a hottie. I have watched you from the start and it feels like I already know you. I would love to be get to know you and be friends. Carol- You are a wonderful mother and partner for Erick. You have improved so much and you are doing such a great Job. You can really tell that you love your son and your relationship has improved so much with the time you have spent with him. Continue the good work.

Carol - you are a hard worker and I love the way you've risen to the challenge! Unlike the judges, I thought you two kicked butt with the Jump, Jive and Wail number. It was so difficult and yet I felt you made it come alive rather than just pulling it off.
Keep doing things your own way - it's a great way to do things. :)
